WTF. The guy pushed the ref out of the way to keep fighting and it was stopped?

I had the UNDER 9.5 rounds so I was pleased. (Relieved) Mora is NOT looking very good at this time. Where is his fire and energy. Something is missing since the Contender show.:rofl :rofl

 

1.56 second left in the fight Ruvalcaba ate a sold straight then took 2 sold left hooks right to the center of his face.
You can easily make a simi case that Rucalcaba was taking punishment in a fight he had no chance of winning anyway.

 

He wasn't in any serious trouble - he just got caught with a couple of good shots on the ropes. It's not like Mora was really doing anything before that and we know he doesn't really have any power. Even when the Ref got back up - he could see that the guy was still fighting and coming forward at that time. He could have let them keep fighting.

This was a terrible stoppage.

Agreed. No one should lose a fight just because they took a couple of shots. He was still throwing punches when the ref jumped in. He didn't appear to be in trouble.

 

look all Im saying is this .. looking at the guy record his last fight was 4 years ago and prior to that he was KOed 5 times , based on that he should not have even been in the ring, and the ref was more then likely thinking better safe then sorry , no way he wants this guys death on his hands, the real question is how they even chose this guys as an opponent .

 

Funny, the same thing happened to Archak TerMeliksetian When Mora fought him.
