Sergio Mora turns down fights with Kirkland and Martinez

Maybe he didn't like the terms.In one interview he said he's thinking about 3rd fight with Forrest. Well Clottey, Quintana, V.Phillips, Alcine, and Dzinziruk are still available.

 

I think thats due to weight issues.

In both fights against Forrest, despite what excuses Forrest had for the first fight, Mora looked like he deserved to be in the ring with most of the best at 154, even if he wouldn't beat most of them. But he has always said that he is a natrual 160 and was unlikely to make 154 ever again.

Both Martinez and kirkland have some kind of future at 154 and are unlikely to move to 160 for a pointless fight.

 

Mora should do something else then !

is he looking towards another big fighter or is he just a coward?

 

The other Sergio M. would smash him, and Kirkland would mangle him.

 

Pavlik/Mora may happen some day. Mora is an absolute ass, and as a consequence of that a lot of people under rate him. He has a rather awkward style. I think that he probably could outwork and outslick most of the current top 10 at 160, so ya never know. This fight could happen. Money seems to be the only thing that stopped it from happening after Mora/Forrest I.

At the end of the day Mora can't break an egg. He has nothing in his game that would keep Pavlik off of him. He is not nearly as fast as Taylor, and his footwork is nowhere near BHop's level. KP walks him down and takes him out in 5 rounds. It is what it is:deal

 

Pavlic would KO Mora in less than 5 rounds. Mora is a heavier version of Malignaggi. All slick and no power. We all know that fighter's like him rarely goes far in boxing.

 

Mora is just a B level fighter. He has talent but he needs a better trainer who teaches him to use the jab and go to the body and not jump in his opponents with those wide shots.
He should fight K9, IMO.

 

What top ton middle does Mora survive, let alone beat?
