Mora is a joke. Either of these fights would be great for him.

You could be right about that one! Roman recently scored a wide UD over McKart, and I always thought McKart/Mora would make for a good scrap. That's another fight that was talked about a couple years ago, but Mora turned it down from what I heard!

Kirkland's last fight was at a catch weight against a middleweight...

Not enough time to make weight is apparently what they stated.

That's legit. Mora is a big LMW and had only two fights in that division after moving down from MW. He also was very weight-drained in the rematch against Forrest. He had to lose 6 pounds in one day, including 2 pounds in two hours after the first weigh-in, which he failed to make weight.

Then I think I have been a little too hard on Mora and was right too turn down those fights at 154:think But really think Sergio should start fighting more often and get himself in a Eliminator at 160 with a David Lopez who be easy to make a fight with:nono

Mora had career momentum after the contender but seems to be wasting it. He seems to turn down more big fights than he takes. He isn't a bad fighter but nothing special either. If he moves to 160 he might land a big fight or two because their aren't too many names there. But he'll never be a serious threat to any of the top guys there.

He probably didn't like the venue. Like when he had a shot at Taylor, and thought Memphis was too close to Arkansas.
