    Round 1

Mora jabs and backs up. Vera comes forward with some high jabs and a double right cross but is missing as Mora leans back on his outward step. Vera can't land clean and resorts to dropping levels and running in from a crouch. Mora keeps slipping his way around the ring and leaning against the ropes to roll with Vera's punches, then leans forward and ties up and gets popped with a short uppercut. Nice jab by Mora. Vera is held outside with the jab for awhile but comes forward with a quick combo that forces Mora to grab and push him off. They trade a few hooks on the inside and Mora is pushed to a corner. Vera is aggressive and hooks Mora flush. Mora nods at him. Mora comes back and throws a nice combo at the bell.

    Round 2

Vera is aggressive, leaping in with his 1-2 and catching Mora at the end of a couple of right hands. Mora switches southpaw and then back. Vera catches him at the end of another one. Vera drives him to the ropes and does some body work. Vera presses the action and Mora leaps in to grab him. Vera tries to continue pressuring but has Mora grab the back of his neck and draw him in. Mora is chased into a corner and Vera does a paint job on him as Mora tries to bend at the waist and slip. Mora lands a nice little check hook and then ties Vera up.

    This...isn't terrible. :blood

Is it just me, or is this fight relatively interesting so far?

Vera is making Mora fight. If I didn't know better at this point, I'd say Vera might just be ahead on the cards at this point.

    Round 3

Vera slices away, hooking both arms in short diagonal arcs at the ducking Mora's face. Mora is trying to get out in the open and get a jab going. Mora is forced to fight his way off the ropes and gets his chin crunched by a hard Vera left hook. Vera is landing some seriously heavy blows. Has anybody else noticed this is as toned and muscular as Vera's ever looked? It isn't just the tattoos...Vera looks teak tough now. Mora is tossing high right hands in between upper-body gyrations to make Vera miss...and missing himself (but getting into clinching range and taking advantage). Vera pushes Mora to the ropes and snaps his head back with a jab. Good 1-2 from Vera as Mora leans into the ropes. Mora tries a body hook to push Vera off, but Vera obliges anyway by leaping out of the way. Mora launches another high and wide right hand that Vera ducks, and Vera spins Mora into a corner and works the body.

    Vera is winning!

3-0 Vera... no other way to score that. Outworked for 2:40 seconds of every round.

Vera shouldn't even try to hit Mora to the head....go for his body!
