Well, I am really impressed by the skills and flair of the Latin Snake. Sergio proved he was an elite fighter when he beat Vernan Forrest.
Mora really needs to get into a eliminator soon to get a title shot at one of the champs:nono it's Mora who should really be fighting Karmazin on the 8th:bart A fight with Golovkin would good for Sergio:good
Mora isn't a bad fighter but most importantly he has some name value. If he could pick up a semi notable win or two then I could see him fighting Pavlik sometime this year.
Seeing this post brought some memories of Forrest. He was arguably the best Welter in the world for a period of time. He beat a prime Mosley. Injuries hindered him a great deal, but he was a brilliant fighter. Buddy McGirt said Vernon was looking to move up to MW & Buddy reckoned Forrest weighing around 157/8lbs in training was performing great in the gym.
What a tool. How many big fights does the guy want to turn down. He is the epitomy of a ducker. He doesn't take on any fight which he perceives to be risky in the slightest. Golovkin would of battered him.
Aside from concerns over risk/reward, Mora also thinks he is a super star. He does not think he should have to work his way into title contention. He actually seems to think all the top guys should be beating his door down.
it's OK with me that Sergio fights a club fighter like Naugler as a tune up as long as fighters a rated fighter next Rated fighters he fight and beat # 1 Domenico Spada # 2 Enrigue Omelas # 3 Marco Antonio Rubio # 4 Daniel Edouard # 5 Giovanni Lorenzo # 6 Billy Lyell # 7 John Duddy # 8 Miguel Espino # 9 Randy Griffin # 10 Khoren Gevor
