He shelved himself by losing to Brian Vera twice. He is also a slick guy with little to no power. Pair that with him losing to Vera twice, and that is how you go from having your name out there, to having your name forgotten.
Every snake has its day- he'll always have the Forrest win to look back on. He actually looked alright against Proksa. It won't help him if GGG grants his wish, but it looks like he's fighting with at least some urgency now.
This. He made pretty decent money in The Contender and the Forrest fights so I hope that he saved it.
Recently heard him mentioned as a possible next opponent for Matt Macklin.Cant see it myself but if it happened my money would be on Mora.If he did win that would put him up there again, presumably.
Macklin-Mora would be an even more potent Vera-Mora, IMO. I'd go for Macklin if he returns to his former self.
I always hated sergio mora he was just boring as hell. And ran his way through a fight. He had no power at all just boring. I remember he beat ishe smith in the contender i was like wtf lol. Ishe would murder him if it was 12 rounds.
I'd like to see him fight GGG but has anyone heard of any moves post Proksa victory? Edit: not sure if he'd be effectively slick against GGG but I'd like to see how much.
I'd love to see him against GGG. That will tell us a lot about GGG! I think he's the real deal, but I just want to see how he'd do against the Latin Snake.
