Love Cotto but Sexy Serg is too big, too fast, with power, and angels.. Sexy Serg wears Cotto down and stops him in the late rounds.

Cotto is a G i can see him taking this fight at 154. Sergio is too dangerous..

I like both fighters so itll suck cus one of em gotto loose. just like Ward vs Dawson like both fighters but didnt want Bad Chad to loose the way he did.. thats boxing.

true. i see the comparison with pac and sexy. both are in and out fighters depending on their foot work and speed. this version of cotto with beat pack but not sergio hes too big.

I agree with a few here. If this fight should happen it needs to be at 154. Cotto has no business going up in weight, he's way too small for a catchweight or MW imo.

Cotto's not like JCC, the man can box and bang. Id love to see this fight thats for sure.

I don't think Cotto has much of a chance to be honest. He's a lot smaller than Sergio and also significantly slower. Not to mention Cotto's chin is alright, but may not hold up against Sergio's power.

I just think this is a nightmare match-up for Cotto. Huge reach advantage + significant foot speed advantage + power that's stopped legitimate middleweights does not spell a good night for Cotto. Also Martinez being largely one-handed against Martinez has not really gone well for anyone he's faced.

Fight will in all likelihood never happen though.

Any objective observer must admit that he hasn't, though I'd still give Cotto a fair chance against Martinez despite his early struggles with Foreman. Since Cotto would be the draw in this matchup, I'd assume it'll place in New York?

To be honest, this is one of the few fights that I wouldn't hesitate to PPV. Kinda on the fence regarding Cotto-Trout though...

Martinez easy KO even at 154 where martinez will be a little weaker.. cotto is better off fighting chavez jr than he is fighting martinez.. vs jr he has a big chance of winning no chance vs martinez

    :hat

If Jr. can somehow acquire another MW belt then it would be worth it for Junito. My reasoning is that he'd make just as much against a beatable Canelo than he would against Jr. with no belt on the line.

Martinez would knock Cotto out, a fight I wouldn't want to see.
