I'm not seeing it tbh. His knee obviously was not at 100% but if it was so bad that he screamed, he wouldn't have been able to get up, move around a lot and continue for 9 more rounds.

Martinez picked up his movement in the 3rd round and later on. His knee was not the major problem, Martinez's couldn't handle Cotto's work. Cotto was just the faster, stronger and more skilled fighter.

Honestly bro I haven't seen the fight but from that clip of rd. 1 , he looked to be struggling with his movement. Either way he's done .

Idk how people are saying Martinez's knee was fine. Get real here. You can clearly see his legs are not properly stabilized under him, it just looked awkward.

Once again, that was not Cotto's fault. He fought a great fight. But be realistic and fair here.

You need to see the fight, he was not moving like that until Cotto landed a massive hook. That's what everyone seen, that's what Martinez confirmed, because that's obviously what happened. Not talking to you but, it's not rocket science.

There's no way of knowing how well his knee was, I'll go with the 80% I predicted before the fight but, what can be confirmed is that he was not moving like that until Cotto landed that hook. And that, most of how he was moving after was due to cobwebs since it coincided with that, and that's what Martinez confirmed.

martinez is shot and permanently injured, matthew macklin would probably knock martinez out in a rematch.

Cotto is not going to fight any legit MW. He has options with Canelo, Mayweather and even Pac. That belt is going to be hostage and not disputed among real MW's.

I dont see how people deny that cottos win was largely due to Martinez's knee. His foot work was horrible, looked wobbly the whole time.

I was actually disappointed with cotto. All he had to do is rush martinez and finish him off. I was going for martinez but he should of never stepped into a ring to begin with.

Good win for cotto as far as "on paper"
