Zzzzz. Cotto's crushed him. He screamed out of frustration for NOT being able to take Cotto's shots. Martinez was moving fine until that hook caught him.

    Let it go.

Cotto had him rocked many times in the fight , and it wasn't his knee that made Sergio shake, it was his chin, which was on a downward spiral since Chavez jnr fight round 12

Sergio and his managers went for the biggest money fight. It's possible that his team saw that Sergio was declining and figured they might as well take the biggest money fight, in case he loses to a lesser fighter for less money.

    Nothing new about that happening.

It's over for Martinez! He's almost 40 and his reflexes are not there anymore. He could be in the greatest shape in the world, able to run up and down mount Everest in a day and he would have still had trouble with Cotto because his reflexes aren't what they were 4-5 years ago. Throw in his awkward style, that being using his reflexes as his defense and a bad knee and the result is a beat down by a younger, stronger and more skilled fighter.

Cotto's left hook didn't make him limp. He reinjured his knee when he went down.

Doesn't matter who people picked. No one is butt hurt. If anything, Cotto fans are delusional because they don't want this "great" victory taken away from Cotto. I like Cotto but be realistic. How can anyone in their right mind say his knee was fine?\

Whether he was OK going into the match or not is irrelevant. Fact is, he reinjured his knee in the 1st round. The guy was slow and had little support. This is a cherry pick from Roach AGAIN.

Even the commentators were talking about how bad Martinez's leg was in the 1st round. My girlfriend could see how bad his leg was and agreed it wasn't a fair fight.

Martinez said he was 100%, took his loss like a man and didn't make excuses. But if you saw the fight you saw his knee.

Cotto's punches in the first round stiffened Martinez's legs and he never recovered.

Cotto was the under-dog so it was not a cherry pick from Roach if anything it was a cherry pick by Martinez gone wrong.
