Gulyakevich is still one of my favourite fighters. He has never had the support of any powerful western promoter+has travelled all over the world wherever they promised him some bucks.
All the odds were against him.Still,he beat them almost all in a classy and convincing way.
He would also have beaten Redkach if he had been in shape and had had a decent training camp before.Sure,he looked clumsy and one-dimensionl(to say this about him breaks my heart because he truly represents the exact opposite of a one-dimensional fighter).Besides he has become old and tired.
I really love his style and can still remember some of beautiful performances inside a ring.A true artist, totally underrated. A capable American promoter would have made him a long reigning champ IMO.Belarus' version of Dzindziruk, but a more entertaining one.

As for Khomitsky I cant really tell whether he is truly Ukranian or not.Sure,he doesnt have a Belarussian name, but he may have a Belarussian mother and a Ukranian father and was just born in Ukraine and then moved to Belarus.
Ethnic Belarussians only represent about 65-70% of today's population in Belarus. All the other people are either Russian colonists, immigrants from the caucasus region or Ukraine,or mixed **** sovieticus.

Anyone know who Derevyanchenko is targeting? I heard he's on the fast lane for a belt. He's faced some okay fighters, but they need to put him with a named fighter or else just keep him busy. Gaymon absolutely sucks at bringing up prospects. Derevyanchenko should've signed with Top Rank. They bring up prospects so perfectly.

Guy only has one loss to Zeuge who's a decent German SMW, but overall a fairly unimpressive record, I guess it's fine on short notice, it's a last minute replacement for the cancelled Nyambayar-Vazquez match.

Guy is a former MMA fighter and he's no pushover.

CST how far can this kid go in your honest opinion?

Will he go further than lets say Quigley or Khytrov?
I don't know much about him but seeing a few highlight vids and watching a few rounds I consider him to be Dmitry Chudinov level and probably wont go as far as Quigley or Khytrov who I think will end up being a level above him?

Nothing he does is particularly impressive to me and he looks to be an average athlete as well?

He's very good 26-1 in the wsb and has looked great as a pro. I see him going further than khytrov anyway,he has more skill. He is a lot better than chudinov.

Quigley probably has a lot more upside Given he's age and room for development but sergiy will do very well and will go far

Yeah Quigley does look the goods, seem's very polished and is a big powerful guy @ 160 as well. Size seems to be lacking in the other two especially Derevyanchenko, skills can take you so far but you will get found out when you don't have the fire power or speed to fight back.

I don't see any real firepower in Derevyanchenko like CST has claimed?

Skillwise he's levels above Eubank Jr., Lemieux and Khytrov. He's superior in every way except for maybe power in comparison to Ievgen and David, he'll probably go further than both interms of resume, but Quigley and Khytrov will probably be the more well known of the 3 due to their more exciting at times fighting styles.

He cuts off the ring impeccably, his punch placement is beautiful and he's one of the more accurate MW there is, so yea I rate him highly. He may not seem like much at first glance to you, but watch him a little more closely then his subtle techniques will become more apparent.

Sam Soliman is a tough night for most, how do you see the fight going. This is a fight i am very interested in seeing tbf.

I will be impressed if he dominates him. Having less than 10 fights and taking this challenge certainly suggests he wants to go places.

I think we will see it when he steps up, he is a very good fighter, doesn't catch the eye like khytrov with he's all action fighting and power or doesn't move as no much or is as eye catching as Quigley but he is a very very good operator and the closest thing to GGG v2.0 i think you will see

He does have almost 30 wsb fights though ,IMO they could have moved him a lot quicker

I fully expect him to. I'll be shocked if Soliman sees the final bell.
