IMO beating Soliman puts you straight in to contender status, well really its not just my opinion its a fact.

Losing to Soliman can get you a shot at GGG ala Wade.

Awesome, derevyanchenko is my favorite prospect. Fell in love watching him on WSB. What happened to his power, though? He was folding guys like Migitinov on WSB with bigger gloves. You would think his power would increase with the small pro gloves?

Khytrov will be on the same bill.

I never really thought he had power, the punches he selects are usually ones that are on the lower tier of 'power punches', to be safe.
He did get some KO's in WSB though which is impressive with those padded gloves.

Just realized this is a 30yo man lol, no wonder he is getting fast tracked!
It kind of explains a lot about his WSB record!

Can any one tell me his h2h am's record against Khytrov? I assume they would have fought a few times?

they matched up once in the am's derevyanchenko won 11-2 , mind oyu that was in 2010 so khytrov was 21-22 and sergiy was 25

I mean doing that with the bigger gloves they use in WSB looked impressive to me. Impressive enough to wonder why Derevyanchenko doesn't hit any harder as a pro.

Still, I think Derevyanchenko/Golovkin might be a FoTY. Derevyanchenko is effing awesome! :bbb

Derevyanchenko also got completely schooled by Korobov in the amateurs. Holy hell, to see Derevyanchenko/Korobov in the pros, though, we be amazing.

Where are all the dumb Brits claiming this guy would also lose to every domestic U.K. MW like Khytrov?

Usyk and Derevyechenko are both from Crimea but haven't renounced Ukrainian citizenship for Russian. Tres interresant.

I'm pretty sure they're ethnic Ukrainians though.
