I love watching Derevyanchenko fight! He's such an exciting fighter! And also very talented. But I was hoping his next fight after Jacobs would be bigger. It's a shame he turned pro late. He had the style and potential to be a HOF fighter. EDIT: Oh I haven't seen the winner of the fight would become mandatory for Canelo vs Jacobs winner. In that case I'm taking my word back, that's great.
i doubt canelo would vacate the belt because of derevyanchenko this cinnamon boy is taking on all of them . if canelo defeats jacobs then fights andrade bjs winner to become undisputed then after vacates the belts to move up and do something big @168 then it still would not be considered a duck . one simple fight against derevyanchenko dosent define canelos legacy same as the charlo fight they are mandatories but they are not legacy fights. at this point the andrade ,jacobs and callum smith fights make more sense opponents who have belts
Culcay is like an awkward fight. The guy gets on the inside and goes to work. He is a bit like a lighter punching Shawn Porter. I think he actually works on the inside even better than Porter, doesn't smother his work as much. Nowhere near as physical p4p or probably even h2h though If Derevyanchenko ko's him that would be a bit of a statement actually.
