Dzinziruk has called PW out many times and now it can be done since both are without fights. PW is just the interim WBO champ. If he can beat Dzinziruk, then he can hold the full WBO belt which will add to his earning potential that he so wants. He can't keep waiting for Pavlik and be inactive for so long.

Dzinziruk has been on PWs doorstep time and again.

I think if he doesn't get the shot, it's obvious they don't want none of the unknown, but very dangerous technician in Sergyi.

I have never seen him fight, but he did beat Santos which is no easy feat. I believe Dzinziruk is tall too and undefeated.

I really hope its actually Martinez instead of this guy.
However i have a feeling negotiations wont go well and PW will probably face a decent name that has no chance to beat him.
    Boxing politics make me pessimistic.

I believe the Martinez fight would be much easier due to Martinez being all over the place. It would be a boxing lesson if PW fights a smart fight. I just hope whoever PW fights, he does not get caught up in all the hype and loses. Ala Quintana. Meaning he overlooks whoever it is due to waiting on Pavlik. It happens.

I hope its either Dzinziruk or Martinez.

I do believe Dzinziruk and Martinez can both beat PW. They're quite big men in their own right and have what it takes to beat Paulie.

if i was williams team he would be my last option....he is virtually unknown.. the only thing he is known for is being a tool to dethrone the potential reign of paul williams.... if paul williams didnt exist nobody woudl care about this guy..

if nothing else can materialize for williams i would do it but i'd rather fight some known guys

I've been saying, now Pavlik pulled out again Paul should move back down to Light Middleweight and fight Dzinziruk.

THey will clear up the Interim title there and it will be a good stay busy fight.

It sounds like Dzinziruk would make the fight - anyone have any sense if Martinez and/or his promoter would go for it?

I just hope Williams gets a decent fight. This is a **** scenario for BOTH Williams and Pavlik. A couple good fights at 154 could be good for him; just hope he gets them.

I still think PW should fight Sturm, an orthodox boxer with a very good jab for the WBA MW title, that's a winnable fight, another one at 160 and good preparation for Pavlik, whereas Martinez and Dzinziruk are both difficult, highly skilled counterpunchers at 154, I don't think Williams can look too good vs. them and no reason to fight at light-middleweight.

Bring on Sturm, that's the right fight for many reasons.

Hes done defended the belt five times now and beat Santos, Lujan, Julio and is looking to fight someone with a name. He's done himself worthy of a shot against a well known name, and Paul just so happens to be open for a fight in December. Dzinziruk is aswell and has called on your boy two times already.

It's time for Paul to step up and answer that call, he cried and moaned about being avoided by fighters, yet he's turning his back on someone calling out his name when the conditions are perfect for a fight?
HYPOCRISY. Paul and his team need to step up and stop treating worthy fighters like they fear being treated themselves.

What are you talking about? Potential reign?? It is called a challenge. PW has been saying that no one wants to fight him. Dzinziruk is the leaner champ who wants to fight here in the US. I believe he let go of his promotional team to secure fights here in the US. He even challenged Spinks to no avail.

    is he worthy?

    of course...

    does that make him known?
    **** no...

paul wins... he beat an overrated euro
    paul loses... EXPOSED

whats the point...especially for no money

yo listen... i been on this forum for a good 3 years... NOBODY mentioned sergie dzinzurik EVER...

    MUTHER****ING EVER!

until paul beat margarito and verno phillips.... people were looking for someone who could beat paul williams.... so like i said if paul didnt exist nobody would care about dzinziruk... he would just be another random euro in a mess of all the others...

regardless of what sergeie is trying to do... paul is trying to get to the next level... top 3 p4p status... beating dzinziruk wont get him that... he wouldnt even get any credit for doing it... he would get credit for handling business but thats it.... he woudl just have "beaten another bum euro".... i can already see it

So basically, you're saying Dzinziruk is a nobody? He beat Santos, no?
There's two sides to a coin, Paul and his team can't ***** and moan about being avoided, when they blatantly ignore calls on their own.

It doesn't work like that, Dzinziruk has been calling him out right now for months and months, Paul has only fought a shop worn Winky Wright in the meantime, if they don't answer that call then they're blatantly ducking Dzin, simple as.
