Dzinziruk by decision, but I'm not super confident in the pick. He's been showing signs of fading for the last several years, and Dzin's inactivity hurts. I'm not sure Gonzalez is significantly worse than Joel Julio, and Julio had his moments against a much better version of Dzinziruk than the current version.

All of that said, I don't think Gonzalez is anything special, and if Gonzalez wins, it probably reflects more on Dzinziruk than Gonzalez.

Dzin is better than alot of people realise.

He'll win this one pretty easy, if he's given fair scoring.

The razor Dzinziruk hasn't been looking like as sharp as of lately, and Jonathan is young and hungry and knows this is his oppertunity. So I think it will be tough fight for Dzin, but I do see the Ukranian being the winner here.

Lately? The only time we've seen him in just about two and a half years is sixteen months back in the loss to Maravilla, where he moved up to challenge the lineal middleweight champion against whom nobody is able to look their best.

As of his 6th and final WBO 154lb title defense before moving up, he still looked plenty sharp to me.

It remains to be seen the effect rust will have, but Mantequilla hasn't looked exceptionally capable to me in order to see him posing too much difficulty...assuming Dzinziruk can pick up where he left off in early 2010..

I was pulling for the younger Gonzalez when this fight was announced. But after seeing him come in 9 lbs over the weight limit, I just couldn't support him for that. That's pathetic. With all that weight advantage, Jonathan should of been able to bulldoze Sergiy and break him down.
