1. The "country" portion of this edition of CountryBox was originally advertised to be Clayton Q., whose band has played CountryBox several times (perhaps more than any other artist), including the most previous CountryBox 32 where Oliver McCall infamously labored to a draw with a jabronie. He was replaced on short notice, sometime in the last 24-48 hours, with Tristan McIntosh. I've never heard the young Ms. McIntosh play but if nothing else she will provide a bit more visual appeal than Mr. Q...

2. Shannon Briggs was originally supposed to have fought on this card. That is no longer the case. Oliver McCall was supposed to have sat ringside with the likely scenario being a "spontaneous" moment in the ring after Briggs' presumptive victory (just as Briggs was expected to do when McCall stopped his last opponent...except he didn't). I have no idea whether either will even be present at this event now that Briggs is no longer competing.

 

Hmm, guess they reverted to Clayton Q. after all. The promotional posters on their own website had it as McIntosh (who competed on American Idol, I just found out)
