Dumb ****en move on sergie part. Timm, his former trainer is better then mcgriit, were how many world champs has mcgritt built from scratch, 0. timm, 5....He bult sturm, who has a sold defense, a great jab

Only thing good thing about this move, is mcgritt is not like a mayweather sr. an **** up talent when he gets it. I just don't see that he needed to dump his trainer. Besides Tarver, i don't think i ever seen him do anything great with a fighter. gatti was already a great fighter before buddy,,,IMO

Ya'll don't understand the implications of this fight. The gameplan changes when a southpaw goes up against another southpaw, especially when they've never seen anything simliar before.

And it's not just about whether or not they've faced a southpaw in general, it's about whether they've faced a southpaw with Martinez' style.

It's a game changer and Dzinziruk made the right move.

Well, I guess when Dzinziruk loses that one poster with all the Euro-level stuff is gonna come on here with excuses saying that Sergiy had a Euro-level trainer that trained Sergiy to 37-0. Then he switched to an American-level trainer and that's why Dzinziruk lost.

I feel bad for Buddy. He is a good trainer, but he seems to get hired by fighters that are either

    A. Always underdogs in the fight

    B. Being brought in as an opponent

    C. Already expected to lose

    C. On the decline, and all of the above

He needs some fresh young prospects to bring up

I must be sick or something because I thought I'm gonna read Teddy Atlas but Buddy should've popped up first.

Anyway, it seems Sergiy already preparing for excuses.

If you choose McGirt, isn't it like the kiss of death?
