That's why i spend most of my time in the classic forum, much more knowledge..and although there are still fan boys and haters they are slightly more reasonable! But I like modern boxing and have to come here now and again for my fix! Peace
I will stick to good fight. Not a slug fest, not a real technical masterpiece by any stretch. Cotto did adapt skillfully, and while many (idiots) people will call that running he adapted to the situation and did what he had to.
Cool...For all fans sake a rematch is really needed here if there ever was one needed...I'm a big fan of boxing and it would be a highly needed fight.... Both boxers are tough and respectable im just tired of gift decisions... **** is frustrating.
To close of a fight to call it a gift decision(although 116-111 was way bad!)! But a rematch would be nice...I just doubt it will come off!
Oskar Schindler once said: "I am protected by powerful friends, you should know that." Well, same for Miguel Cotto............ Cotto is protected by powerful friends......... It's all bull****, too......... HOWEVER! Josh Clottey jerked off by NOT closing the show.................. Clottey needed to stop Cotto in rds 10, 11, or 12.......... Clottey screwed himself by allowing the fight to go to the cards........ :roflpatsch:shock::deal MR.BILL:admin
Both deserve credit but common Cotto fought with ONE eye.I had it 115-113 for cotto. Cotto was wounded and Clottey couldn't finish him off he didn't want to take chances.
I don't think I will go that far, but I generally respect your opinions! I am not sure Clottey could take him out, although around late 8 to mid 9 I was wondering if Cooto would last. Clottey didn't need to score a KO, but he did need to be alot more aggressive especially in the 12th.
