Good post. Well, I don't know what a troll is, but I do think Pac presents problems for Floyd and vice versa. Man, I feel good that you gave me props for being a Floyd fan lol. They called me Cal's biggest fan for the longest, and even called me a poster named Amsterdam lol. Thanks man lol:good

Yeah, Cotto and AM are just those unbeatable guys in Gorilla suits aren't they?. They are unbeatable lol. What are their records, and how do they compare to Floyd?:huhYou wanna talk fear? Check this out: A boxer wrote this for a guy like you.

On being told that he has fear of other fighters by a fan:

MARCUS RHODE: It doesn’t bother me because the simple fact is half these guys have never put the leather on, they have never been hit, never been nothing. It doesn’t bother me because all they can do is run their mouth because if they could get in the ring they would have gotten in there...

a multi dimesional fighter, no more one trick poneys.mayweather has beaten guys bigger and stronger, fast and slower then him.to me a guy that would cause pbf problems is a fighter like him self, berto reminds me alot of mayweather as far as what he can do in the ring.nut he is still questionable.

i dont believe the castillo fight is a good blue print, because fighters have tryed that before and after.infact in the castillo rematch pbf proved that he was not going to be beat by that style.

i can just see pbf geting hit with a punch and going to sleep, its hard to say whats the best best way to beat him.i mean you can create a boxer like on fight night rd 3.

Well glad to be of service :good

I haven't been around these boards long enough to know your posting history. I have noticed your tendency to polarize the discussions though, and lately with all the *******s I've seen you attacking them mostly.

Glad to see there's more than just flaimbaiting grin.

And yeah i agree, both would present problems for eachother. I appreciate Floyd for his immense defensive skills combined with fast and presice counter punching. He takes some time to read his opponents and acts on it. Very intelligent, fast handed and skilled fighter to sum it up. Pac is fast and unorthodox with very decent power and extreme stamina and workrate. If Pac's defense truly improved, I believe he can pose serious threat to Floyd.

Anyway, both great fighters and I can't wait to see them in the ring together. Whoever wins.

Chico most definitely did not do well, though I'm sure he'd have done better if his mind was in the right place.

Intelligent pressure would be the best idea. I think a 100+ a round puncher like Williams (not Margarito who CAN be outboxed, but someone with a few more strings to their bow; P-Dub is a southpaw, has one puncher knockout power and a long reach)

I'm sure people will point to the Quintana fight, but even GREAT figthers (not saying WIlliams is great YET) have off nights.

I can think of fighters in certain weight divisions from the past that could beat him. Considering that PBF would only fight at WW or JMW now (if he were to comeback)

WW: (possible) Cotto; Margarito (I think Floyd would run rings round him but you can never rule out a fighter like Margo) Pacman (darting in and out, quick hands, sharp punching, personally I think Floyd would stop him just to prove a point)

JMW: Williams (possible, the mans a freak and could win a decision on workrate and the fact Floyd would find it hard to win ever round against someone who hits hard, is a southpaw, throws a lot of punches and isn't scared to get hit) I'd like to say Santos as he's a big strong guy but I think Floyd could win a decision, it's not a fight that's feasible in the slightest.

I think Cotto pre-Margo would've had the best chance. He can box AND punch, I believe he could take Floyd's punches too. However, Floyd can bang (even at WW) and could cut Miguel up...I think if Cotto can beat Margo in a rematch Floyd vs. Cotto could be one of the biggest, most exciting fights of all time.

But it won't happen; I think Floyd will remain retired.

The fight would look like this.

Mayweather running from rounds 1 to 6 and looking flashy, smiling and making Margarito miss and then there will be a shift in the fight and you will see Mayweather smiling at Margarito but he will be getting hit more now and eventually will become less elusive.
He will start to feel the effects of the body punching

Mayweather will still be smiling and running but getting landed up and starting to smile through embarressment.

He will continue to run like a big ***** and smile until Margarito keeps on getting stronger and stronger as the fight wears on.

Floyd still smiling expecting to get a decision and then they announce Margarito as the winner and Floyd looks out in dismay, no more smiles and all his floydamaniacs stunned as they leave the arena all crying.

Floyd does his Post Fight interview, makes every excuse known to man and in the process makes himself look like a Dickhead, he announces retirement and goes out the sport like a *****, crying and protesting he won...
