    If I am not mistaken, Tito defended his WW title more than a dozen times

    ODLH has an overall resume (amateurs and Pro) that Floyd's cant even compare.

    I am not saying Fernando Vargas is better but he was the youngest Jr MW champion.

    Has Mayweather Jr defended his WW (or any title) for more than a dozen times? His resume isn't filled with current top 10 P4P fighters. Did he become the youngest champion in any weight class?

    He's overated because he's the best fighter in the world. That's just the way off the thing.

    he's undefeated a champion in 5 differant weight classes he defended his belt at 130 i belieave 9 times why all the hate should be the question//and how could you even compare vargas to mayweather now thats just hatret

    its hard to over look names on a undefeated record like that!

    Mayweather has more skills than any other boxer in the world right now, that is why hes p4p #1. It doesnt matter if he hasn't had as many defences as other fighters it doesnt change the fact that he is the best boxer.

    At the end of the day most of us just sit behind a computer and say what we think about boxing. If you read interviews and see opinions of ex and current boxers they will all tell you mayweather is best. They have been in the ring, they have fought for titles and they know whats what.

    That said, nobody is unbeatable, but i think cotto gets slightly overrated here just because of the hate for mayweather. It was the same for witter, everybody sayin hatton should fight him, there was even a thread where i think it was 96 people that picked witter to fight hatton next and only 13 for mallignaghi (cant spell for ****).

    to many people on this board are blind by cotto hype! that they havnt gotta clue on who maywetaher is

    he is

    FLYOD MAYWEATHER JR

    one of the greatest most occomplished fighters ever in boxing! 5 championships in 5 weights he has got more talent than a circus, Flyod Mayweather is the best boxer in the game, Offence , Defence ,Speed , Stamina, Agility, Power, how people mark shame over his achievements are crazy!
