Yet Mayweathers last 4 fights tower over Hoya's 4 fights leading up to the Floyd fight.

And yes, at the time the gap b/w Oscar and Floyd is greater than b/w Floyd and Pac....but none the less, there is still a gap between Floyd and Pac right now. Whether you accept it or not is your problem. Facts are facts and Floyd draws in more money than Pac. he deserves a bigger split. Not 60/40, but 55/45 .

You make ZERO sense. First of all, Floyd has done better than Manny has and has done it in less fights.

And neck and neck means virtually TIED, and that is NOT the case, Floyd is CLEARLY ahead.

And as far as the DLH comparison....Glad you brought that up...Floyd is not asking for a DLH split like 70/30..He is starting his negotiations at 60/40....and hasn't made it a point that he will not take any less....ON THE OTHER hand, Pac said he will NOT NEGOTIATE 50/50. :think Think about whose being the dick....That's right, the SMALLER draw, who is NOT WILLING to NEGOTIATE.

World wide has nothing to do with ANYTHING. World Wide Hopkins was the recognized Unified champ, undefeated in 10 years, P4P #1, 19 defenses, the best MW since Hagler and Monzon...yet DLH made like 80% more.

Ruiz was the HW champ, and RJJ was moving up in weight...But teh bigger draw got the bigger purse.

There are vast examples of this...

    Irrelevant argument on your side.

Okay, at this point, you're all over the place and are not making sense anymore.

You admitt Floyd is a hardworking promoter.
You admitt Pac has a huge Promotional team behind him.
You admitt Floyd has done a GREAT job.
You can't deny that Floyd has bigger PPV #s
Bigger PPV #s mean bigger draw.
You ATTEMPT to ridicule Floyd for being a fighter and a business man..saying he wears too many hats???? What's so funny??Isn't Pac a Congressman?
You can't deny boxing is a business.
You can't deny Floyd works harder to sell is fights.

At the end, Floyd has done more PPV #s in less PPV events tahn Pac. That speaks volumes of who is the bigger draw.

If there was a LANDSLIDE the one can justify a DLH 70/30 or 80/20 type split, BUT since there isn't Floyd is starting negotiations at 60/40...Pac is the one who is UNWILLING to Negotiate.

Dude, Floyd isn't asking for 90/10, or 80/20 split!!! He's starting negotiations at 60/40. :patsch

What's wrong with random drug testing??? It's done in almost all major sports, why not the most dangerous sport??? If Mayweather feels strongly about it because of a hunch, and he is willing to have the same tests performed, I can't see how someone can justify NOT having them done.

All Manny had to do was agree to random testing, instead he bailed out and fought Clottey.

Now all Manny has to do is Negotiate someting other than 50/50, but without any jsutification...HE WILL NOT BUDGE.

Who's the one unwilling to negotiate...?

Of course it's a nice award.. It's one of the most respected and accepted award a professional boxer can be honored with that's outside of winning World title or being accepted into the Hall of fame.:yep

And true...it doesn't mean all that much at the negotiations table if you are not marketable or a draw....but....it just so happens Manny is! Maybe not as large of a US PPV draw that the American born Floyd Jr is, but hey.....Manny is hella close.:yep

And that is only talking about PPVs in the US. Globally its no secret that manny is by large more popular and more well known. So that does equate to leverage at the negotiation table.

I may not give more "bread" that is rightfully mine to anyone else but if we are talkin the chance at being able to break bread with a years supply of "Wonder Bread" by spliting it with the other half to this equation best believe I'm no fool....I'm not finding a way to **** up my ends. :verysad

Smart business moves are usually ones that are based on a strong foundation of common sense.:smoke

I don't know man. I mean how many time do we talk about fighter of the decade for the 90's, 80's, 70's etc....Who issues it again??? Anyway.

Well then Manny can have a "hella close" purse split, but since he isn't better, or even on par...50/50 doesn't work.

Give me Global PPV stats..I say bull****. Philipines is not the WORLD...and his fights are free there because the poeple are **** poor and wouldn't afford the PPV.

Apply that to the ****er who said.."I will not budge"...That is the problem here.

    Something Pac lacks...

    1. Signed with GBP over a briefcase full of dollar bills
    2. Was afraid of needles
    3. Drug tests weaken him for weeks
    4. Fluffy Socks are vital to win a fight
    5. Lost to Morales because of gloves
    6. Lost to Morales because was weaken by blood test
    7. Shouldn't take test becausehe's smaller than Floyd..WTF?! :nut

    Common sense...

Nah homie.....you just can't let your emotional attachment with regards to manny affect your ability to comprehend common sense. Look....I was mad too when PAC ****ed DLH up. But I'm not gonna let affect my rational side. If you are gonna tell me that PAC is not neck and neck in terms of popularity in this country you are only making yourself look foolish and I can't help you.

Floyd asking manny take a 60/40 split is no where near the same as Floyd ACCEPTING 30 to DLH's 70% when they squared off.:rofl Floyd has competition in Manny as who is more popular and who is the top US PPV Draw. Sure there is a slight advantage for Floyd but that's only regarding PPV's in the US. Manny is more popular I don't think anyone can question that. Floyd wasn't even a spec on the radar compared to DLH when they fought.:deal

And your comparing oranges to apples with your Nard vs DLH fight. Again....DLH was FAAAAAAR more popular and FAAAAAR more of a PPV draw WORLD WIDE and in the US which is why Hopkins got the smaller split. And again.....FLOYD and PAC are very close with a very slight edge to Floyd...which doesn't give him a solid foundation to try and demand 60/40.

If Floyd wears 12 hats I could give a rats ass as long as when it came to fighting it didn't present any problems.....With Floyd the "hat" that causes him to have problems making a fight just so happens to be his promotional one.:yep

Manny as a congressman could be too much and if that's the case he'll have to pick one or the other...but as it looks right now Congressman PAC seems to have less obstacles in his way in making this fight reality than Floyd.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Random testing brah....just the timing and the whole bull**** act like he was all the sudden caring about boxing and the testing measures they have.:verysad Where was this concern 2, 3 even 4 yrs before knowing he was about to face his biggest test as a pro....as well as his most financially rewarding. It's just a little suspect to me.

Manny agreed to random testing.....he jsut had his own requirments on how close to the fight it would be administered. So I'm not sure why Floyd had to make a big deal out of the bull**** he created by spreading the rumor that PAC had the "a side of meff"...

Honestly FLOYD was the one who made the fight difficult to come to fruition....Floyd came up with the rumors that created the foundation for the demands during the intial round of negotiations and Floyd is the one moving from a 50/50 split that Manny gave him in the initial round of the process.

So you want to find the source of the problem you start from the root. Floyd is that "root" of this problem with not allowing this fight to become reality.

So basicly what your arguing here is that Mannys wins over DLH, Cotto Hatton all by Kayo and his dominant performance over Clottey making it four elite fighters did absolutly nothing for him?
I am sorry but Floyd was the bigger draw before all four of those fights took place, and you have a point there. However after dominating four of the top welters knocking out two of the common opponents he has with Floyd, Manny has surpassed Floyd at Welter and should be rewarded for that not discredited...
You can throw out marquez, but lets be real Manny fought a fresher marquez and beat him at his best weight. Manny fought and stopped hatton at Rickys best weight... dominated Clottey and stopped DLH.
you can argue weight drained with DLH and your right, but dont deny the facts... Floyd dishonoured his contracted weight agreement in fighting Marquez.
Bottom line is, its time to get Floyds balls out of your mouth and wake up Manny has accomplished more at this weight than Floyd has thats a ****ing fact.

Really? We talk about the Fighter of the year all the time...guys like RJJ, Leonard, Robinson, ALI...And the ones that win FOTD are incredible honors that hold a lot of validity to the career and LEGACY the fighter who wins that award has.

Floyd took the 50/50 split in the first round....he can take it now. If Manny agrees to take a lesser split that's fine too. But that's only b/c I want to see the fight !:yep If PAC stands firm that's not on him but on Floyd for creating anther obstacle to delay or prevent the fight from happening.

Manny has budged...Floyd's the one making the demands when he really doesn't have any more leverage than Manny. And yet manny shows he wants to try to make the fight. Manny didn't have to agree to the olympic style testing Floyd brought up for the first time in his career....ESPECIALLY with how it came about with those PED rumors. yet he agreed but with his own amended request on how close to the fight blood can be drawn. Floyd's demands. not Manny's.

Lol...Everything I post in this thread has to do with logic, real numbers, and facts.... Nothing emotional, strictly from a business perspective...

...You and *******s bringing up his FOTD award by one institution, his contraversial P4P#1 status, his orchestrated image, fighting for the people lol....people's champ.....all that **** is EMOTIONAL.....lol..give it up Charlivent..I like you a lot, but your arguing emotionally, I'm debating factually.

See dumb crap like this is why *******s are hated. "In your eyes yeah"...

    In his eyes.
    In HBO's eyes.
    In the number's eyes.

So in everyone's eyes that count Mayweather IS the bigger draw, but you choose to be willfully ignorant?

So since Pac picks crap opponents somehow that means that Pac's numbers shouldn't compare? So let's compare Pac/Cotto to Mayweather/Mosley. Pac loses AGAIN and this time he had the A-side opponent and Mayweather had the B side opponent. Mayweather wins again.

Yeah a 50/50 that the guy doesn't deserve is "workable". I am sure if I told my boss that I wanted a 3000% raise that would be "workable" for me. :blood:roll:

You *******s are just full of crap. Completely full of crap.
