If you found out Mike Perez was juicing for his fight against Abudusalamov, which gave him the extra strength and power the cause Magomed's injuries, how would it make you feel? :think

I ask because so many posters seemed OK to just accept that Shawn Porter might be juicing last week and called it as 'Brook fans looking for an excuse if Brook loses' and some disgraceful comments that 'Brook should get on them himself' :nono

When Paulie fought Porter, Paulie- normally a durable guy- commented that Porter "hurt him with every punch", with one looking at Porter's KO ratio should tell you Porter is no savage puncher, and along with that, Porter sudden increase in strength and stamina since working with Victor Conte should've raised red alarm bells and everyone should've been beating the drums for him to be thoroughly tested. Paulie, by the way, suffered a bleed on the brain in that fight, and had the fight gone on a little longer could've ended up like Magomed Abdusalamov.

This isn't a bit of cycling or weight lifting folks. People's life's and long term health are at risk. Taking PEDs in the sport is boderline criminal in my view and stronger punishments need to be in place for those that are caught fighting dirty. You wouldn't accept loaded hand wraps to give the fighter an unnatural advantage, so why accept PED use? :-(

I think it should be longer bans. What is it now? 1 year? It should be longer whatever it is. If Perez was indeed juicing he should give his entire purse for his next fight to Abdusalamov and his family.

They don't even get a ban in most cases. Here would be my suggested punishment:

    1. 18 month ban for caught users and any future fights they are involved in they are randomly drug tested if agreed in the contract or not- if caught again- lose boxing license permanently.

    2. 'Once a cheat, always a cheat rule' once you are caught, all previous wins and draws should be changed to an NC, loses still stand. So for example, Berto would now be 0-3.

    3. Absolute exemption from the Hall of Fame, despite what you achieve in the rest of your career.

    4. If found cheating in the post match tests, your entire purse needs to go to the fighter you just tried mame with PEDs in you.

I got no issue if you juice in baseball as you are hitting a ball:good
In boxing you could damn near kill a guy:-:)!:

Innocent until proven guilty but once caught some strong actions must be set in place to protect all the guys who risk it all inside the ring:hey

I'd like to hear the take on this by fans of the likes of Roy Jones, Shane Mosley, James Toney and anyone else who has been caught fighting dirty.

:good I wouldn't say I have 'no issue' in other sports but in combat sport I would be all for proven drug cheats to even have to do prison time under trying to commit aggravated assault.

PED use has it's "ok" mentality just because of that, the penalties for use of it are far too lax, making it seem as though it's ok. It's absolutely ridiculous, limited testing is pretty much like no testing, and when you are caught you get a slap on the wrist and sent on a year long and usually much needed vacation. Some kind of deterrents...

I tend to assume all top level heavyweights are on the juice...same for that matter in most of the lower weight classes.

The fact that NASC allow testosterone levels something like 4x that of a natural man suggests they really don't care and know full well what's going on. The whole drug testing thing is a total farce anyway so I don't know why they even bother...oh yes, that's right they want to look whiter than white at least on the outside........

A lot of people can have testosterone levels up to 4 times as much. I myself do, and turned up in previous medicals I've had, and i've never taken roids. It's not uncommon (unless it a tumor which I had to be tested for :-()

All Peds abusers should be banned PERMANENTLY from the sport. They are CHEATS
But in boxing juicers like Mosely Klitschko, Jones jr etc received NO PUNISHMENT!!!!
In fact all 3 are considered shoo ins for the HOF. And people wonder why boxing is co0nsidered the red light district of sports

I've thought about this b4, ESP for boxing....

Hypothetically if Mago had died and Perez was found to b juicing he'd have to have some sort of criminal charges against him

Due to the nature of boxing it has to be seen IMO as a criminal act

Unfortunately I think something like that will have to happen before people sit up and take notice that drug users are utter disgraces. :-(

    Reality check:
It's a level playing field. This is pro sport ffs. Fans are such naive idealists. Sorry, truth. :deal
