Haha good thread, I run twice a week 2 miles at 2-3 am at night. I'm very lazy, wish I would do more but the weather is awful here, can't really do much outside nowadays. Too much slush, snow, ice, and it's cold as hell.

I love running at night, I don't do any roadwork in the day. I like the quietness at night.

Never got pulled over here haha, maybe cuz I wore shorts and I don't usually see police at those hours.

You'll generally only encounter the police if you run past a Maccy D's.

And I agree even though this is a joke thread night running's great. :good

A joke only for the privileged who never experienced what the OP is talking about.

OP asked a serious question... why mock him just because you might not have gone through what he has gone through?

I find it in bad taste.. meh

    Hey what can I say..

Sometimes the bra straps get a bit too tight or uncomfortable and I need to keep re-adjusting :tong

Though they do keep my chests in tip top form O O
So it's still all good :smooch

ive been pulled over at night for running in a hoodie but they let you keep going after talking, just be polite to the cops, its your right by law to go for a run anytime.

I was pulled over by a police car at 9pm once. I was in a weight vest and with a military rucksack so tbf prob looked a bit 'wired' (or should that be weird). They were curious but very friendly. Looked about 12 years old the pair of 'em. One was tapping away on his iPhone lol. (I must be getting old!).

They didn't keep me long at all. I expect they were on their way to Macdonalds. :D

I would always get stopped by the police when I was running in the early morning and asked what I was running from. Used to **** me off as it happened every time.

    EDIT

    I am white.

Just go to he local police station, inform them you are training as a boxer. And you do your roadwork training late/early in the morning. Let them run your information into their computer.

Most of the time if you approach them first, they will not bother you.

    A. You're lying.

    B. You need to run with a normal gait instead of acting like you're being chased.

    C. Wear running clothes when you run.

My buddy wore all black every time he ran. Cops have stopped him multiple times.
