It depends how you view his controversial decisions whilst i'm not a fan of Canelo he has fought some very good names, but on the flipside he has had the benefit of the doubt in every close fight which has to be taken in account and has had some of the worst scorecards in big fights......

    114-114 vs Mayweather
    118-110 vs Golovkin
    117-111 vs Lara
    115-113 x3 vs Bivol
    118-109 vs Trout

    etc.

So as i said whilst Canelo does deserve credit for his resume by that same token some credit has to be taken away because he gets the benefit of the doubt in every competitive fight which isn't fair.

Most of his fights at 168 and 175 have been fixed fight/sparring sessions, so definitely not, in fact he's a disgrace for making a fool of the public.

His 160lb highlights are getting 8-4d in both Golovkin fights. After that he went on circus show

154lb highlights are eating left hands from Lara and getting spanked by Mayweather

Hes got the names but most of those fighters were either forced to fight at a weight where theyre not as good or good at all, shot to bits, rehydration clauses, or controversial win.

If you want to talk about resume, Derek Chisora has the best resume.

    - Usyk
    - V. Klitschko
    - Fury 3X
    - Parker 2X
    - Haye
    - Helenius (Prime)
    - Pulev
    - Kabayel
    - Takam
    - Whyte 2X

He's going to add Joyce to his resume soon.

When you look at Canelo's resume you have to include his helpers , its not just Canelo its Canelo, Vegas officials, the NSAC, Vs the opponents . The obviously biased score cards have already been mentioned, in all fairness he had gift wins which should have been losses. Dmitry Bivol spanked him like a red headed step child that stole something & yet their scorecards issued were all 3 115-113 as close a decision for Bivol which was ludicrous Bivol won by a mile. Canelo is more Diva than fighter

This tells the true story . Canelo took over the mantle Vegas cash cow when Floyd "retired"
This was blatantly obvious. They must think boxing fans are very naïve or just plain stupid to believe some of them Canelo needs to Put Up or Shut Up & just retire. He's just robbing the fans

He hasn't had a good win since he beat an ageing and puffed up Miguel Cotto. He got schooled by Mayweather, looked hapless against Erislandy for most of the fight which most think he was gifted, went life and death with Trout and was lucky to get the nod, was beaten by GGG twice and struggled immensely with a 40-year-old and balding GGG in the third fight, and the rest of his career is either hype-jobs, horrifically shot "names", or fixes.
