serious question : Holmes' Jab vs Wlad's Jab ?

completly agree, holmes jab by itself was in its own league, while he didnt really show he could use it to set up a knockout punch like wlad can. I havent seen much of holmes though really.

 

Well you have to be fair and think . Wlads jab isnt always a jab at all.
Sometimes he just puts his arm out so he doesnt get hit. Or so that he can sorta hold his opponent in place while he fires the right.

Sometimes its a pathetic paw jab. His jab is good but most of the time it is weak.

You can compare , but why bother? Holmes had/has a superior jab.

 

atsch the last time I checked VLADS was longer more powerful and he was able to hook off it with trmendous force ! When did HOLMS ever do any of this ? LARRYs a little faster but isnt as good a weapon other then that ! :deal And pleae with the ALL TIME GRAP ! deal in REAL TIME and facts !:yep

Wlad throws the follow up power shots, as in 1-2's much faster than Holmes did.

Wladimir's jab is also much more powerful as a single punch. I do believe that Holmes could fire off more jabs per second than Wlad could, which would mean he jabs faster.

 

You deal in realtime? Well right now youre dealing in stupidity Wlad's jab doesnt come close. He doesnt even have the energy to sustain an accurate and pwerful jab throughout the fight.

 

Close comparison, Wlad's jab is probably harder and Holmes jab is faster. I guess there pretty even to me.

I always thought Wlads jab was his best weapon, I think its up there with Lewis' power wise.

 

Listen, Holmes had a faster jab, which could in itself control a fight, but Klitschko's is a bit more diverse in that he can hook off it or fire one of the faster all time 1-2's I've ever seen. Wlad does "paw" with it sometimes but it's because he's using it a a range finder or to knock the opponets gloves out of the way for his bigger punches. Lewis did this a lot too.

One things for certain, no HW's jab was better than Larry's back then just as no HW's jab is better than Wlad's is now. Can we agree on that?
