serious question : Holmes' Jab vs Wlad's Jab ?

Holmes had a faster and snappier jab
Klitschko has the harder jab

Both are great

 

He only started doing that when he was 156 years old

 

watch the second brewster fight. he averaged 72 punches thrown per round and over 50 per round were jabs landing more than half the time. Show me another example of that kind of output and accuracy in the last 10 years in the hw divsion. Looks at brewster's face after the fight, he was swollen under both eyes and his forehead where the jabs landed making him quit on his stool. your statement is ludacris.

Wald haters think that if you say his jab/rights hand etc. is better than an ATGs, we are saying he is better. that's not true. just saying an aspect of his game might be better or comparable.

Holmes had a great jab so does wlad. his jab is a weapon like foreman's was. so powerful its like a straight left power punch. not saying its better, but it is certainly one of the best EVER! deal with it WALD haters.

 

Even as a so called "Wlad hater," I could honestly say Wlads jab is one of the best Heavyweight jabs of all time IMO.

when and if he fights iggy, WALD is gonna put on a jabbing exhibition til Iggy's face falls off.

 

I agree, I really cant see Iggy winning this fight unless he lands a something big on Wlad. Iggy's new style plays right into Wlads firing range, if Iggy wants a chance at winning he needs to be more agressive and actually try and take the fight to Wlad.

 

The second Brewster fight?:rofl C'mon man. I like Wlad. He's one of my favorite fighters . But his shortcoming are painfully odvious. I never said you COULDNT compare them . I just dont want to.

Out of all of the boxers with great jabs, Wlad really isnt one of them. I'm sorry.

 

Fair enough but your statement: He doesnt even have the energy to sustain an accurate and pwerful jab throughout the fight is not correct. Another example would be the Peter fight where his was snapping peter's head back with the jab in the 12 round and hurt him twice w/a hook and then a straight right. i believe he threw around 500 punches and landed more than 200. in that fight, he proved he could box and move for 12 rounds even after hitting the deck 3x. his stamina is no longer a weakpoint, infact, his output and stamina are now tops or close to it in the divsion

What do you consider his weak points?

 

The wonderful thing about Wlad's jab isnt that it's an especially awesome jab, it's good, but it's not amazing, but rather that he uses it. Correctly and often.



Rahman's jab is better than Wlad's, but Rahman doesn't seem to know this or doesn't have the faith in it he needs. Rahman could win nearly every fight on his jab alone, IMO.

Very well done. Sinew is touching himslef to say that Wlad's jab is weak........................or that he can't sustain power with it.

 

For a supposed Wlad fan you apparently haven't seen many of his fights if you believe his jab isn't an ATG one at HW.
