Serious question: is this a 'cash out' for martin or a 'semi cash out' for Joshua

Yeah I don't know what I was thinking. Bizier would have to lose to the heavyweight version Dan before the IBF can install him as AJ's mando.

He confirmed that tbf on ifl.

This fight was a risk and a little too soon. But they will do two voluntaries before they look at the mandatory/unification

Which is ok, i didn't think i'd even see 1 meaningful fight from AJ in 2015. if we get a couple like the whyte fight it'll be great

Martin is cashing out as he'll lose. Hearn is putting a lot of faith in Joshua to beat the top 15 in the BIG, and there mandatory challengers post Martin.

It's a big payday and legitimate defence for a 'champion' who is severely lacking in legitimacy.

Neither fighter is being 'cashed out', because there is no reason for either of their managements to believe the other guy is a lot better than their guy.

People have become too entralled with Joshua perhaps. Or is Martin no better than Gary Cornish ? :huh

When Joshua wins any heavyweight contender with any sense will target the IBF route, easiest fight and makes the most money for being a mandatory.

Did AJ really make that much? I thought it was about 400k buys. That would generate 6.5 Million. He dosent take the whole pot.

I think Joseph Parker wants that fight, despite being #1 in the WBO now, he'll target the IBF.

If Martin beats Joshua his stock will go up considerably too, perhaps making an all-American 'unification' with Wilder a profitable fight. Not sure what's happening with Wilder-Povetkin.

None of them will partcualrly want Fury if they can get HUGE money some other way, but as long as Fury beats Wlad he should get another huge payaday against the winners of some of these fights.

Neither are cashing out! Its just a good fight that makes sense with or without the ibf strap.
