How? When both of their resumes craps on Joshuas. Even w/ Wilder's belt (If he gets it), he's still lacking in wins compared to all those I named.

Why not talk about Joshua's best wins as a comparison? But if you believe THOSE to be their respective best wins, this conversation will be pointless.

He's comfortably and then some sitting outside the top 25 right now. I'll just say that.

I don't think very highly of Wilder so beating him isn't very historically relevant, let alone enough to catapult him beyond HW legends who did much more.

ok, but one or two years will not make someone a great.. The rare occasion someone was great quickly was Sugar Ray Leonard 4 years. That was unique. But when do guys win 2 world titles at two weights and fight greats Roberto Duran, Wilfred Benitez and Thomas Hearns and guys like Kalule... coming back and beating Duran and then beating Hearns with his eye swollen and behind in the fight, and winning that title from Benitez.

Weak era, he'd need to do a Wlad type long term domination for me to consider him any kind of great. And I love AJ, my fav HW by far.

I'd rank Wlad in the top 15. If he'd have become undisputed I would rank him higher, but he obviously wasn't going to fight his brother.

He had wins over Prime Chris Byrd, Prime Samuel Peter, Prime David Haye, Sultan Ibragimov, Prime Povetkin, and Prime Tony Thompson, which were all solid wins and showed he could fight different types of fighters and still win.

I feel like I would give more credit to Wilder for beating AJ than I would AJ beating Wilder.

I know the Ortiz win was a good one but I think the Wlad fight separates them. Maybe Wlad is past his prime (Ortiz got some years on him though), but this wasn’t a Fury-type victory. He broke him.

If Wilder gets KO’d, I feel like many would chalk it up to just a matter of time. If Wilder KO’s AJ though, he emphatically eliminates all doubt.

Unfortunately I believe Hearn and Joshua are ducking.

he'd surely be ashamed to even be thinking about "all time rankng" with a victory over the bronze medalist.
