Im from the states and I was just wondering how Khan is perceived in europe? I think he is way too ahead of himself right now with all these dream fights and demands. HBO loves him. He needs to slow down with his comments because I haven't seen anything that special from him yet. Maybe it's because Roach is his trainer? Zab vs khan fight should provide some more clear answers. Just my opinion, what you guys think?

All our olympic medalists get thrown forward fast, some sink, some swim. Amir will probably swim but take a few losses along the way

I like him. He's got good things ahead of him if he can keep his head down.

tough and dangerous opponents??? he never fought a puncher till prescott.then was carefully guided to a title, maidana was the next big hitter and he was nearly sparked again, ill give him this tho his chin has improved since willie limmond nearly put him away

Good kid, who came back from one of the worst KO's id seen at the time. It looked career finishing, his team has done a great job getting him back on track. Like his speed and his power, but worry like hell haha about that chin still when in with good guys

People in Scotland don't like him in my experience, and I'm one of them

I like Khan (he won me over since his KO loss, especially his performance against Malignaggi), I think he can and will improve under Roach...Mayweather fight may come too soon though.

And Willie Limond should have beat him if it wasn't for the long count

He needs to tighten certain aspects of his game up but he has insane hand speed and a good skillset to go with it. Not to mention the mans warrior mentality

I liked him after the malignaggi fight. The maidana fight he somehow survived in my opinon haha. A few more rounds and maidana would have finished him. He lost me as a fan when he called zab a runner when thats all he did the final rounds versus maidana. I just think he's kinda cocky for his own good. He does have good intagibles tho, and the chin seems to be improving.

The UK know him but hes not very popular... oxymoron?

Thing is a LOT of white males don't see him as English. Look at the crowds (hardly sizeable) he takes to weigh ins as an indication, mostly asian.

A decent fighter, but personally I don't like watching his style. He lacks power, not that that's everything, but he just doesn't do it for me.

He does have some good qualities though and seems to be coming along well with Roach.

One of Britain's top 3 fighters right now.
