Seriously, any precedent for what the Klitschos wanted contractually from Haye?

Multiple rematches against multiple opponents, any other examples?

    Vaffanculo, wrong topic!

The Klitschkos wanted options on Haye. The strongest HW promotional company with guaranteed worldwide interest and the very strong German market money wanted options on Haye, I mean if I could ask for something, that'd be a multi-fight deal with K2, the money machine of the HW division.

Instead, Haye ended up giving options to Don King and Sauerland and will fight John ****ing Ruiz next. Smart move, David!

I can't remember the details anymore but wasn't the real issue more to do with the way the money would be distributed? When Setanta went bust Haye was set to make absolutely nothing wasn't he?

your an idiot, he was going to make peanuts fighting wlad or vitali so instead he fought the biggest heavy weight champ ever earnt ten times as much drummed up so much more interest in himself and now he is in the perfect postion to get himself a decent deal with k2 instead of the bull**** they throw at him last time, god i hate eastern european boxers and promotors

Not much obvious benefit to being attached to a 'money machine' if none of the actual money is heading in your direction?

Guys, youre missing the point. More than one rematch against more than one opponent. Anything like this?

Remember folks, the Sentana deal was the idea of Haye and his team.

People wants to bleat on about it being a bad contract? It was exactly what Haye demanded.

So wtf is wrong with him that he asks for bad contracts?

It's not at all uncommon for a fighter to sign for several fights with a promoter in order to get a fight. Remember Vitali and Wladimir are both part of K2 boxings stable. So in order to get the first fight, he has to sign for a rematch against the defeated champion if necessary, then another fight against a specified fighter, in this case Vitali. Do you really think Don King or Bob Arum haven't had such contracts before? I know Don King had a contract to take over the career of the winner of Nigel Benn/Chris Eubank, but didn't get either because it was a draw, and all he did was shop the fight to America, and for that he gets you from that point on. 2 fights for a promotional company isn't that extreme. I think Haye has to fight Ruiz (Don Kings fighter I think) first, and also has a rematch clause with Valuev as well, so how has it ended up any different?

No, nothing like this. On its face it sounds absurd, but wasn't this something that he wanted - to face both brothers? If he wasn't in favor of the clause then yes, it's an unusual and far reaching request.
