I respect your opinion however Froch holds that left hand down by his waist and Taylor looked very handy against Lacy and I disagree, I think Taylor has a good defense. I just think that Taylor made a mistake against Pavlik by not doing enough lateral movement. Really the Pavlik should have been over in the first 2 rounds of their first fight but anyway back to the point. I just cannot see Froch winning, he will get outboxed straight up. Taylor is better than people give him credit for, so dont be fooled by his losses to Pavlik. He is still a quality fighter with alot more to offer I believe. Larry Mechant got it right when he said thay Taylor is a diamond in the ruff, he just needs to polish that diamond. SC
Common sense here. Taylor was outboxed by a 1D but good fighter in PAVLIK. Froch has more power, better chin and heart that Taylor so I think if Froch get him in to a war he will KO him. My only concern for Froch is his slow foot work which could mean he is beaten to the punch and maybe loses by UD
Theoretically Taylor is way to fast for Froch. As long as he keeps his hands up, stays off the ropes, and sticks to a nice tight blisster and move, or tie him up when you're done punching, type game plan, Jermain will win a clear and comfortable UD. However, in boxing there are many, many things that can **** up a good theory. If JT falls back into his old habits of holding his left down low and going straight back to the ropes, he could be in for a very long night. Personally, I feel that the version of JT that lost the second Pavlik fight beats Froch. I don't think Froch has the stamina to keep the pressure on the way Kelly did. Froch doesn't keep his hands up like Pav does. I also think Froch's power is somewhat over rated. Pascal got rocked by Pittman who has a 38% KO ratio, and Froch couldn't take Jean out. He won't be able to stop Jermain with one or two good shots. He'd have to do it on accumulation, and I don't think Carl has the speed or the stamina to make that happen. If Froch wins it will be because JT screwed up. The version of JT that lost the second Pavlik fight, and beat Lacy, beats Froch 9 rounds to 3, 8 rounds to 4, something like that.
