Seriously guys, Kelly Pavlik only lost because of issues in training...

I lived in SW PA. I know a lot of guys like Kelly. Maybe that's why I like him so much.

It is. The only good news I heard all day about this new list of excuses is that apparently Team Pavlik (or some of it) wasn't happy about the elbow/bronchitis stuff being made public. Not sure who put it out, then.

 

Does anyone know what Hopkins says about his so called "win". I bet he has an excuse for it.

Come on! Do you guys really think all of a sudden, KP who throws 75 punches per round just all of a sudden can't throw 10. BHop's defense and footwork was just that great? Just cause he moved to the left, to negate the right, Pavlik all of a sudden couldn't throw the jab? All of a sudden Hopkins is faster and has more hand speed than Jermain taylor? Whatever the case may be, it was bogus from the get go. Somthing was up. Anyone who has seen any of Pavlik's fights knows that was not him in the ring Sat night and it wasn't anything Hopkins was doing. Boxing is rigged just like every other sport. The same reason Pavlik wasn't throwing any punches is the same reason Hop wasn't throwing against Cal-Slappy...............Bogus!

 

And......don't worry. Pavlik will come out against Rubio and whack him out in 3 rounds, he won't stand a chance............

Wow, I didn't even hear about any of this. I heard that he was jogging and his big tall bumper car head head butted a bus. I hear the bus was totally wrecked and that Pav only had a tiny scratch. They also said in training that he never trained for a fast fighter and that he couldn't spar against real boxers because they showed too much skill. Pav's knees wouldn't bend nor could he throw proper hooks. They couldn't understand this because 2 weeks before the fight, he went to the part got twisted and was doing the funky chicken flapping away all night. They did say during training that his arms were too heavy to hold up at times, and that is why he coudn't block any of the 43 year olds punches I believe. Darn it that Hopkins for taking advantage of Pav's injuries...:**** :bush

It was a real ass whipping, because only one guy was fighting. If it was the healthy Pavlik that showed up against Taylor, Hopkins gets blown out!
