Ali actually stood up for causes in which he believed in. Floyd don't stand for ****. Ali was witty and was genuinely funny and a born showman. Floyd's just spoiled and arrogant.
The thread starter needs to learn when to use "too" and when to use "to". Maybe I am being a grammar Nazi, but it was hard to read.
People who like Floyd don't worship fighters as Gods. They don't need him to be a role model for their goddamn kids. And they don't have to feel all warm and fuzzy inside because he's fighting for some higher cause. They like his fighting style, his dedication, his training, and his work ethic... I guess your next question will be: How can you be a boxing fan and not like [ - fill in the blank - ] ?
its comical for floyd's most hardcore fans try to say how they don't pay attention to his out of ring antics. And obly focus on hi ring fights. Bull..****! Look at the way 3/4 of the floyd fanboys post. Oh, he a G!! Dizz and dat!!! His persona is just as big a reason ***s like bladegunner love him.
Why wouldnt you like him? Hes top notch viewing. You can be as cocky as you want if you've got something to be cocky about. Everything he says he can back it up. All of it. Best fighter in the world.
A clown, attention *****, and is outta control when he is not training. Very good boxer, but a horrible person, an ugly person. He truly is an embarrasment and disgracful inside and out the ring.
I think Floyds fans should just let his critics post their truth, half truths, jokes, and lies, and don't respond back to those posters. Make the attempted eyebrow raiser suffer by NOT responding. Maybe you won't get the daily garbage you're used to reading from the same old posters.
I love see him perform in the ring. I think he's a beautiful fighter to watch. In terms of his personality/character, and how he's handled his career, that's a different story. A lot of my favorite fighters were kind of disgusting outside the ring to be honest.
it's never black and white who's bad and who's good. floyd's made some pretty big mistakes but if you had the money and the stage he has, how do you know you wouldnt let it go to your head? i wouldnt be sued by a guard because i poked him in the face, but i'm not a millionaire. i wouldn't be violent towards my girlfriend but in my dayjob i'm not rewarded for punching people in the face. so no i dont like him, but i appreciate his skills and think he's judged overly harshly because he's made a career of pissing people off. then again he's still a twat.
