glad to see this thread. i thought floyd's character is just common in america. i thought americans are really like this once off the camera. honestly i felt ashamed watching these episodes of 24/7. what do you think is floyd's message when he burned his money and pulled that stint with 50?
Offended by pac's number one stan. I admire your commitment hating is a full time job, it don't pay in cash but it sure gets you through your bum ass day :rofl:rofl
What do you think america's message is when they bomb innocent civilians in Iraq, and say whoops my bad. :rofl:rofl
He says it in the Parkinson interview that I gave. He also says it in his Irish interview. Forget what part though. It's all up on youtube. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LaCK_LkEHk[/ame] It's worth watching it all anyways, brilliant interview.
One of the finest boxers ever. Like to watch him box, would like to see him lose cause he can be a pr*ck. The main thing is he is not as witty as he thinks he is, but to be honest I try not to listen to anything he says anymore as his interviews are pretty poor, if he disagrees with someone he just shouts over them without actually making good points....so becomes pretty boring.
very much like pacquiao. that is why you never hear about his infidelities, and gambling problems in the media; cause he smiles too much.
Muhammad Ali is sharp as ****. He knows what he's talking about. Guys calling him a racist are idiots
Your question: How can you like Floyd? In order to become a fan doesn't a person have to like Floyd to a certain extent? I'm not sure where you're getting at. I don't just appreciate his work in the ring. I like the fact that he has the balls to say whatever he wants. He has thick skin. I like how he treats kids with kindness. I find his ridiculousness funny at times. And so on. There are a few things I don't like. But that doesn't mean I should put him on my hate list.
I can't stand him, but he is an immense fighter. I'm really looking forward to watching him batter Ortiz.
Yes, that's what I was referring to. And I explained why I like the person. Is that not good enough of an explanation? I see Floyd as a court jester....a class clown of sorts. I think he's funny. Not wrong, is it? Eminem can sell a ton of records by airing out his dirty laundry that suggests murder, ****, hate, etc. But when Floyd goes off with his antics boxing fans are up in arms about it. Why?

I don't like him but I do find him very funny in a clown jester kind of way and over the years I have warmed to him. I think he just wants to be loved.
