It was not a split decision. It was a majority decision. In a split decision one judge gives the fight to the losing fighter. No one gave Pavlik/Lopez to Lopez. Adalaide Byrd, one of the worst judges in boxing, called it a draw. The other two judges saw a wide decision for Pavlik. All of press row saw a wide decision for Pavlik.

Even Tarver and Bernstien, with their obvious anti-Pavlik bias, gave the fight to Kelly.

Now, if you want to talk smack, go watch the fight again, with the sound off, and come back here with a round by round analysis that outlines all the mistakes Lopez made that should have made him easy to beat. This is the 5th or 6th time I've issued this challenge, so far, no takers. I have a feeling that people who watch the fight a second and third time realize Lopez did not make to many mistakes, and that Pavlik beat the **** out of him anyway, and won at least 8 rounds.
