Surprised by the overwhelming majority saying Bud won. He was hit clean/flush literally every round of the fight and had aa great deal of difficulty landing anything clean/flush of his own. Madrimov was just better that night for me.

Yeah many rounds were close with not a lot of punches landed but he was landing with big clean eye catching shots throughout.

Crawford won for sure, but Madrimov will stop Bohachuck and that's for sure...

Madrimov won 115-113 on my card.

But he was never going to get a decision win over a American boxing star like Crawford in America.

At least the rounds were close, it wasn't as bad as the outright robbery in Kovalev-Ward I.

That the fight was more competitive than many expected might be coloring/influencing perceptions.

I had Crawford 115-113 and don't think Madrimov made a particularly compelling case that he deserved the nod.

Madrimov better not overlook Bohachuk, either. The Ukrainian has heavy hands, a damn good engine, and will bring plenty of heat.

Mads didn't do enough to win a close decision. He COULD have one if he'd let his hands go a little more each round.

It could’ve gone either way, no-one got much clean work off, so the rounds were very hard to score.

Madrimov himself said he didn't do enough in the fight. But I didn't need him saying it...I saw it. Crawford won.

Agree on the first part, I had it Madrimov 115-113. But I disagree on the second part, I think Bohachuk is going to stop him. He has the style that's always given Israil the most problems, but power wise and output wise happens to be levels above everyone else he's fought with a similar style..

Madrimov won but I'm honest enough to admit that had he just fought at least one legit prime top 10 opponent before, especially in a 12 rounder, instead of a bunch of scrubs and a few fringe world level guys at best, he would've won a lot more decisively, if not knocked Crawford's ass smooth out and left him dribbling spittle all over the canvas like a 170lb giant baba eyes in separate orbit

The fact Madrimov WAS the champion

He gave Crawford a shot at HIS world title

And as with EVERY damn foreign world champion Crawford has fought sans Burns which is the ONLY time Crawford has travelled outside the protective sanctuary of his homeland in 41 fights which absolutely HAS to be held against him in P4P discussions, brought HIS world title to Crawford's country

And even worse, as is almost the norm over there, fought him on a stacked deck of a HOME REF and THREE HOME JUDGES which literally NEVER happens in any other country in the world for world title fights between a home and away fighter

Should've bare minimum resulted in Crawford giving him a rematch instead of Crawford scurrying away into the shadows like a hyena with its pound of carrion

That would've been the honourable, manly and right thing to do
