No offense but you head to alt up because of how you called Brook v Porter. Your opinion holds no relevance. NONE. You would likely be doing the same had these fights happened in the modern day then come back under 'biener' and start your 'what a robbery!' thread after Hagler and Golovkin get Lacyied™ :patsch

You are just still butt hurt. Your bum is as sore as Hopkins after Calzaghe thrusted in and out of his excretory opening like a well oiled piston live in crystal clear HD when he had Hopkins pulling his crybaby face wanting to quit :lol:

Imo Golovkin is best fighter that i have seen. I have followed the sport from early 90's. I would give him a good chance to beat any MW in history including Hagler. Boxing has levels and Golovkin is on the highest level with his all around skils and physical attributes. Plus his style is entertaining.

I think it's racist to assume others to only like someone because of the race of a certain fighter they like.

    But whatever.

We all know how much Hagler accomplished and where he falls in history.

Now it's the Golovkin era and we get to see where he falls.

If you don't like him (skin tone reasons or whatever it is) then cool. Read about his middleweight bouts and keep hoping deep down he loses but stop the loser threads brah

He could jump back in a time machine, KO Hagler in a round and within seconds in a parallel universe a thread would start titled "Hagler was just a bum anyway"

I love both Hagler and GGG. I think it's difficult to see how he'd do against Marv until he is able to fight someone that will push him to the limits. I don't think that boxer exists at 160 currently though. However, if he wants to just dominate the MW division for his career well that's fine by me too

"Why is GGG fighting Willie Monroe Sr.'s leftovers?"

Seriously though, this would be a great fight. I would not bet against Hagler. :bbb

Ray Leonard was 30 years old and in top shape when he fought Hagler. Instead of begging the ref for help, he just ran for the whole fight, knowing that the mafia had two of the judges in their pocket.

Leonard was the superstar, was younger than Hagler and was a cash cow. It was well-known at the time that Hagler had lost interest in boxing and would not generate any revenue for the sport anymore, so they gave the gift decision to Leonard.

I more or less agree with this.

People who think that GGG "runs through Hagler" or that "Hagler brutalizes GGG" are living in their own little wan k - fantasies.

Frankly I think that stylistically Hagler may have the edge, but then again, Golovkin just keeps looking better every time I see him. This would be a great, great fight that would probably ruin the pair of them.
