And? We're not talking about the likeliness of the fight happening, we're talking about if they fought which would be the better fight for Pavlik, not which one is more plausible, and you know that.

No, I said it would be more beneficial because Andrade is a known quantity who can give the best a tough fight. We dont know if Lopez can offer that. Dont put words in my mouth.

 

Come on man. Are you forgetting the hard losses he took? Are you forgetting about the alcohol abuse, subsequent rehab, and the new weight class? You are trippin broseph. I don't recommend you go into fight management or promotion.

His career is already in question right now, feeding him to the wolves will just solidify it. I have no problem with this fight whatsoever.

 

This fight isn't to PROVE Kelly is back or to PROVE Kelly is still a force. It's to shake off ring-rust and get him back fighting. THEN (if all goes well) he can step it up bit by bit. But it would be a mistake for his career to throw him up against better fighters, even an Andrade or Stieglitz.

The thread was not "who would be good tuneup for Pavlik if $$ was no issue", was it? Or any kind of fantasy matches for who we think would do the best for Pavlik. Real world, this is what it is.

 

That would be an interesting fight IF Pavlik proves he isn't completely shot to ****. Proves it to me, his handlers, and most importantly... himself.
