I don't get this from Pacquiao fan's, not all of them, but the diehard one's are ****ing delusional...

Right, i'll state first... I'm a Mayweather fan, but just because of that shouldn't discredit what i write.

I respect Pacquiao, what he's done is great for Boxing. Fair enough, i'll be the first to admit some of his biggest win's have been questionable...

De La Hoya looked like E.T
Cotto and Hatton were damaged goods
    Clottey stood there
    Marquez arguably beat him...

But it doesn't matter, Pacquiao can only beat what's been put infront of him, the question's above are not down to Pacquiao himself but the people who choose and pick his opponents (being well timed or not). His style is good to watch, he doesn't crawl in a corner when being pressured, he fight's and fight's until he can't nomore, you have to respect somebody like that (being a Mayweather fan or not).

    BUTTT, here's my problem...

Most Pacquiao fan's are Pacquiao fan's, not Boxing fan's. They see Manny going up weight division's, demolishing fighter's left right and centre (weight drained, damaged goods, or not) he's still wiping the floor with them. Because they see him doing this, along with the fake claim of holding 8 World titles in 8 different divisions when it's 6 in 6, they automatically assume he's the greatest Boxer ever. They don't take into account that when assessing the greatest Boxers of all time, you take many thing's into account. When taking everything into account, Pacquiao is not close to being the greatest fighter of all time, but Pacquiao fan's don't get that.

The Margarito victory changed nothing, everybody knew what he was going to do, but some people (mainly Pacquiao fan's) think that by beating Margarito he's turned into a greater version of Superman they already claimed him to be. They need to understand, he'll never be the greatest Boxer of all time, and the sooner they do the better

You're right. Pacquiao needs to demolish your man Floyd Mayweather to establish himself as a Top 10 all time great.

pacquiao is good he's the man of the moment but he'll lose to all those guys.. they're young and hungry.. manny made his name a long time ago and now is fighting other name guys that are not at their peak.. even if he fights mayweather which is a fight i want to see.. they're not the best two fighters right now.. they are just the two biggest name in boxing.. and that's the thing with boxing is about making a name for yourself and then cash in... DLH had his moment, trinidad, roy jones.. now is pacquiao and floyds time since they're the two big names that are left in boxing right now.. they dont have to fight the best because they are already on top .. pacquiaos and floyds careers are both on top just like DLH, Jones, tito and a bunch more but to say this guy is top ten or the other is stupid cause every list is a bias list.. there's no real way to meassure and compare careers unless those boxers are from the same time and fight eachother ...

Anybody who thought Margarito had a chance doesn't know how to analyze styles. Straight up. Not to mention the huge disparity in speed.

I didn't even need to watch the fight to know what was going to happen. Like the Clottey fight, this was as good as fixing a fight without asking the other guy to take a dive. Bob Arum knew this as well and that's why he made the fight.

Margarito had ZERO chance. Been saying that since the beginning. The last dangerous fight Pacquiao has taken was against Marquez in regard to styles. He's been cherry-picking ever since. Yes, even Cotto was an easy fight to call. Damaged goods, leaky defense, no right hand, slow feet, and a tendency to fade late... and he did not look impressive in his previous fight to Clottey.

Manny has been doing a great job at cherry picking lately, that is for sure. I say a great job because fans actually think these people were legitimate threats, lol.

I don't "support" boxers, I watch the fights. The last time Manny fought anybody that was a threat, it was Marquez. The proof is in the pudding as well. Look at the results from that fight, and the results from his cherry-picking of limited/vulnerable boxers with name recognition. They have been avoiding putting Pacquiao in there with anybody with a combination of speed and boxing ability. All the guys like to fight coming forward.

Manny's fights have been extremely easy to pick, and he's been a huge favorite in Vegas consistently. That is not an accident.

No, I don't think Mexicans get annoyed with the "Mexicutioner" moniker on any fighter, I just don't think once that fighter is beaten and then has questionable decisions he should retain that moniker. Facts. As far as Manny having to prove anything, I think him and Floyd don't have to prove anything. They already have HOF careers, but now that they have crossed paths it's getting to a fever pitch and pretty impossible with all the pressure to turn back. They know if they really want to be up there with the Leonards and Duran's they have to fight each other. They don't, then people are just wasting their times comparing them to the true greats.

Called it. Did you see Oscar get lit up by Forbes? He had nothing left, and Forbes would have never gone the distance with an active Oscar.

Ricky Hatton? Please.....after his fight with Juan Lazcano there should have been no doubt Ricky was done.

And yes, i called the Cotto fight by TKO. Style match up... Cotto was damaged, fades late, has no right hand, is only effective coming forward, leaky defense, and has slow foot speed.

I called Clottey by a UD beatdown. I even said Clottey would turtle up and resemble a walking punching bag. Again another fight people had to be crazy to actually think Clottey had any kind of chance.

And now I've called the Margarito fight. Expected the same result from the Clottey fight, but with more action. Margarito will punch, but he has no defensive skills. Easy target for Manny.

Hey, Manny is a great fighter. He needs to stop fighting guys that have limited skill sets. He also needs to stop collecting "Paper Belts."

its like I'm talking to a 1 year old, what do you do for a living. How can you even survive in the professional world is beyond me.

Like you're talking to a 1 year old? LOL -- This your first response to my comment. I wasn't even talking to you, and I am the 1 year old? Perhaps you should learn how to properly read? And I'm into Network and Communications Management for my career. Not an easy career choice, son.

Sorry if my opinions do not line up with your Manny Pacquiao lovefest. Hey, don't get upset, Pacquiao is one of my favorite fighters and he is great in my opinion.

As a great fighter though, he is expected to pick better competition. Not "Paper Champions" and vacant belts for trinkets. He should be challenging better competition. The same holds true for other fighters as well.

Sorry, but I've seen the change in the way Manny is being handled after the Marquez fight. If you can't see that, then whatever. I call a Spade a Spade, and Bob Arum and company have been doing a nice job of Top Rank match making.
