    good post freddy.

We should just enjoy him while we can, he still has a fight or 2 before he retires.

All these fighters Manny beat were very competitive with each other pre-Manny. It's just after Manny they look like ****. DLh/Margarito would have been up in the air. Clottey/Margarito and Margarito/Williams were very competitive. Mosley loses to Cotto, smashes Margarito who smashed Cotto. These are ALL great fighters. No one is a "gimme" of these guys. Williams looks great now but how did he look after Margarito when he got knocked out by Quintana. Remember when he too was a "bum"? It wasn't that long ago when Williams was considered as wasted and beaten as Margarito was post-Mosley.

Pacquaio makes people look the same way. He makes everyone look like have no clue what the hell's happening in front of them.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Margarito could not beat Pacquiao if he brought another dude in the ring with him. Margarito was a OK tenacious fighter. But speed will destroy him. I got Pac landing some of the most ridiculous combinations ever seen and hyping up his legacy more than it should. He is going to Gatti that dude. No defense? No hand speed? What the **** is margarito going to do? __________________

    And Floyd fights well?????:patsch
And if they fought and Pac made him look stupid like the rest? you'd probably say "oh Floyd's not his usual self! " Face it, you hate Pac. Margo knows now why Clottey and the rest didnt open up to fight. They felt it early and didnt want any of it.

Except Marquez and half the other competitive fights he was in or lost.. Oh wait.. that was a different Pacquiao. This is the new version. Ass hurt ass Margarito fans. Pac fought each and every fighter after they have previously been past their best(ODH) or destroyed(Margarito and Cotto). No matter what you say, Mosley battered Margarito mercilessly across the ring and in each and every way. And when Mosley clinched.. guess what.. he did not get hit back. Thats the point of boxing, so I say Mosley beat him better and took less damage and got him the **** out of there. With ease.

Margo's a warrior. Yeah, it was kinda foolish because he didn't want to go out like ODLH. BUt at the same time, I wonder if he's going to feel those shots later on in his life. That was just too much.

and I agree, the *******s need to lay off the mexecutioner Bull****. I've never really bought into that. Its just smack that gets old.

I went to a cool ass fight party in Santa Cruz. All whites, Mexicans and just me and my sister. We all had carne asada and filipino food. polvoron, puto, lumpia. Fresh crab from the sea. Just the fight atmosphere and getting together and sharing different cultures through food and boxing.

Just amazing what kind of impression Pacquiao put on for people who've never seen him fight. He won a lot of people's heart with his humility and athleticism.

Freddy, I'm pretty sure Margo did some stupid stuff like the parkinson imitation, but I think he was playing the heel.

Like i said in the other thread i'll give Pacquiao a bit credit. And the reason i say "a bit" credit cause lets face it anybody that is a huge boxing fans should easily know that Pacquiao vs Margarito when it was first announce was a mismatch in Pacquiao favor. Margarito imo was kind of damage good thanks to Mosley who completely destroyed Margarito. And Margarito style is too 1 dimensional in which i knew that with Pacquiao speed, power and with great movement, it be an easy night. And lets face it Pacquiao from ww to catchweight jmw will only fight fighters that he knows are weaken, damage good, past their primes, ain't slick. <<<Call me a hater but think about it before anyone of you do say that to me.

this is why compubox numbers are misleading, Jones overwhelmed Karass according to compubox in round 2 but every other round karass was pretty much in control

i dont even think margo was making fun of roachs condition...from the very first unedited video, many of us came to the conclusion that he was saying he was scared....then the very next day, he says thats exactly what he was doing...

but whatever, i'm done with the drama...boxing has emotionally drained the **** outta me...now it's time to sit back and enjoy some great match-ups that will end the year with a bang.....feels good to be a boxing fan right about now :good

Regardless of era and the strength of his competition compared to other era's and fighters, he is special.

    That is undeniable.
