But personality and nationality also counts..boxing is business first and sport second

But what about Andre Ward? nobody is getting in line to see him fight, even though he is clearly one of the best boxers in years

 

The thing is that people are not being educated to the art of boxing. Boxing is also referred to as fighting and the newbies to the sport get caught up with that terminology. When a person says fight, then the picture in your brain is totally different than the one you get when you say box. However, the science is boxing. Most anyone can fight but it takes discipline to box. That's my short take on it.
