Seriously would Wlad have ever had a chance against King Lennox?

Wlad and Lennox's name should not be put together. Lewis would have murdered WLad.

Like I wrote in a different thread, Lennox Lewis vs Mike Tyson was a clinchfest and peoplke forget that or havent seen the fight. They look at the result and see TKO 8 and think oh it must have been a great fight with a highlight reel knockout. In fact that knockout was a push. But to answer the question, Lennox Lewis didnt have the greatest of chins and would welcome the clinch from the Klitschko and try to get some uppercuts in the clinch.

They are almost the same. Both clinchers and huggers, both have a glass jaw, and both have no fans (Lennox is somewhat popular now that he's retired, mainly because no one has to watch his boring fights anymore).

Vlad has better handspeed and footspeed, and more power. But both Lennox and the Klitchko brothers are dirty fighters and deserve no place in the top 20 all-time heavyweights list.

I'm going to make this called on Lennox v Golotta , Briggs, grant, ruddock and to a lesser extent Vitali. Against big potential threats, Lennox often came out looking to end things early. With Wlad's losses I think he would look to capitalise on that potential weakness........but.....Wlad's has far more skill than those mentioned fighters, Lennox could be exposed early with the right counter, Wlad's left hook setting up the right? It's a pick em. For those Wlad's haters, at the time there were just as many Lennox haters.

Wlad for me is the better technician and his right hand is not telegraphed at all, straight as an arrow, while Lewis' is looped slightly and Lewis' loads up on it slightly making in easier to read. Wlad may even have more power so he definitely has a punchers chance.

But a punchers chance is the only chance Wlad has. Can he outbox Lewis like he does against the smaller and less skilled opponents he has faced during his reign? Only if Lewis decides to box with him and even then it would be close and very competitive.

But Lewis will not box with Wlad, when faced against a similar sized opponent Lewis went straight at them. Grant, Golota, Vitali, Akinwande all showed how Lewis treated similar sized opposition.

If Wlad couldn't keep the smaller Povetkin at range then the bigger Lewis would have no problem reaching Wlad. Once in range Wlad would clinch only to be faced with an opponent who had the size and strength to maul him and with superior inside skills.

Lewis KO's Wlad inside 5 rounds maybe inside 3. Yes Wlad has a punchers chance but so does Lewis and style wise Lewis has a huge advantage.
