Seriously would Wlad have ever had a chance against King Lennox?

Lewis would have rushed him like he always did with tall fighters, Wlad grabs, Lewis uppercuts inside, repeat a few times, fight over.

While you counting clinches, lets not forget Wlad had all the physical advantages over Povetkin. Lewis didn't enjoy that same luxury.

I'm not criticizing Steward or Wlad or Lewis for teaching/fighting that way. It's obviously effective.

Lewis was rarely exciting. I think the Shannon Briggs fight was his best fight. That was an exciting fight.
Thought he stunk the place out a bit against Holyfield (fight 1), and getting robbed of the decision was probably a blessing in disguise, he got more respect that way. The 2nd Holyfield fight was better, probably due to Hoyfield upping his game. The Lewis-Tua fight was awful. The Lewis-Tucker fight was bad.
Lewis v Billups, Lewis v Jackson, Lewis v Butler, the McCall rematch he made Ollie cry out of boredom.
Far too many boring Lewis fights I can remember.

Wlad would have a very, very slim punchers chance if Lewis was not fully prepared and that is it. It would be funny watching Wlad get dealt with when he tries to employ his dirty cheating tactics on Lewis.

Lewis is on a totally different level to Wlad, the fight is actually a mismatch.

No chance. Lewis was too complete and versatile.

    It balanced out though:

    Lewis-Ruddock
    Lewis-Mercer
    Lewis-Golota
    Lewis-Grant
    Lewis-Briggs
    Lewis-Holyfield II
    Lewis-Rahman II
    Lewis-Klitschko

But Wlad has way too many stinkers that outweigh his earlier fights.

First of all there are many fights of Lennox i can watch every day(Mercer, Briggs, Morison just off the top of my head) while i honestly cant see any of Wlad fights...Wlad had corpse Momeck in front of him and could not do what Lennox did to Golota if you aint going to do that against shot cruiserweight you will never do it:dead

Lennox is not smaller so he could not lean on him all night, Tyson and Evander would make him pay if he tried, Larry would box his ears off, ALi would box circles around him. Wlad style is great to beat these limited fighters he is fighting (and he hasnt reach the next level because no one has pushed him to and he has no need to do it himself). However,if he fought the great or very good fighters of the past he would be only a contender

Vitali retired Lewis over 10 years ago and spared Lewis the embrassement of getting KTFO'ed by his younger brother.

It would be a good fight, but probably not so entertaining for most of the people.

I think that Lennox is more all-around fighter than Wlad. He fights well on the inside and obviously can box. On the other hand, Wlad is certainly better conditioned and in better shape, so Lewis would be the first to get tired if the fight went in late rounds.
I'm sure that Lennox would try to go at Wlad and try to force the battle on the inside and use the uppercuts, but Wlad has obviously the wrestling skills required to neutralize the inside fight. It would be a tough fight, both were trained by the same trainer, use the similar style. Lewis has longer reach, but Wlad has the better jab and more power. On the pure outside battle Imo Wlad would outbox and frustrate him. Like I said Lennox would have to go inside but the way Wladimir grabs and wrestles really makes it difficult to throw any shots. It's difficult to predict, both are very smart, but I'd favor Wladimir prime for prime.
