Seriously would Wlad have ever had a chance against King Lennox?

If he fouled all night like he did Povetkin, he might have a chance.

Of course he'd have a chance. Both guys match up well with the other and are great heavyweights, so it's silly to say neither has a chance of winning that fight.

Lennox had one glaring fault he tended to fight to his opponents level.
He totally underestimated both Rahman & McCall He came into both fights under prepared. What a difference in the rematches huh??? That pic of Rahman flat on his back was a classic.
Anyway heres something youv'e forgotten. Lennox came into the ring VERY underprepared for Vitali. Why couldn't Vitali do what both Rahman & McCall did to an underprepared Lenox?? Are you saying Vital wasn't as good as McCall & Rahman???? Huh ????

Vitali couldn't dent Lennox chin What makes you think Wlad could??
ROFLMAO Wlad took to the hills when he saw what Lennox did to Vitali on 10 days notice. How come Wlad didn't try to avenge his brother like Vitali did for him?????? Because he knew Lennox would have him so he didn't know it he was in Vegas or Vladivostok ROFL:rofl

McCall was taking shots though. No way does Wlad handle the punches that McCall took, the guy has an ATG chin. Wlad was running away from POVETKIN.

    Lewis, mid rounds KO

WK does not counterpunch though. He's the kind of fighter who NEVER trades or looks to counter. He needs to have his opponents on the end of his jab or just around that range at all times. He keeps his opposition offset this way, which also keeps them from initiating anything that forces him to counterpunch. Footage shows he does not prefer to even attempt counterpunching.

If an opponent gets in on WK, he does what we saw him do last night - hold/clinch, lean, and push. He often pushes the guy to the ropes, ref breaks, and then WK slides back to center ring to start the process all over again. It's effective and clever for him against the guys he fights today. But WK has never fought a fighter like a Prime Lewis in his career. What WK does to win his fights nowadays won't work against Lewis.

WK vs. LL is an interesting fight -- I'm 100% positive that Lewis shows up focused and in shape, ready to test Wlad's resolve right from the get go. History shows that LL always went after the guys who were his size or bigger right from the start. He also came in prepared for all of them, sans Vitali, who he fought on short notice.

I disagree with the people who say Wlad has more power. Lewis had explosive one punch power and he also went to the body with bad intentions in his prime. I don't think there's a single guy who Wlad ko'ed that Lennox could not do the same thing to. I don't think a guy like Sam Peter would've made it out of the first fight on his feet against a Prime Lewis.

Both guys hold and lean a lot on opponents who they have a big height advantage over (trademark Steward tactics), but this matchup won't be affected by that.

Someone goes to sleep. Neither guy is that durable and both hit very hard. I think LL would be able to land more meaningful punches on Wlad than Wlad is used to taking. LL has the size, skill, and power to get some offense going. He is also very comfortable on the inside and is a much harder man to push around in the clinch. Wlad would have his hands full, but I favor Prime Lewis to win by KO.

For some reason, I think Vitali is the one who gives all versions of LL hell. Vitali and Wlad are NOT similar fighters. They're very different in several critical areas.

You have no interest in analyzing an actual match up between the two, rather this thread was started because you are upset Wlad won again, and are now forced to seek comfort in a fantasy match up where you imagine Wlad getting knocked out.
