If you give Hopkins 1, 2 and 3 just for arguments sake.

Nobody could argue that Calzaghe couldn't have won 4 - 12. (Only 10 was contentious)

So 116 - 111 isn't that bad using those as the scores.

That score card was BS mate and Hopkisn started well, but he's an ugly ****er to watch and breaks the rules of boxing.

He spoiled the ****ing fight and made both of them looks like ****.

How the **** can a good inside fighter like Calzaghe fight with a man who clinches and ties him up EVERY single time he get close?

Every single time they got close the ref had to break them up.

    That's not boxing mate.

Hopkins is as bad as John Ruiz.

I hope Hopkin's retires and rids us of his boring ass style. :dead

TBH your view will always be tainted the second time you watch it anyway. I can only think of a few times when JC landed clean blows.

Thats true but moving forwards counts for a lot when theres nothing else much to score on.

I think Calzaghe helped initiate many of the clinches he certainly didn't complain too much about them. If you don't like Hopkins then I can see why you would have that view though.

Meh I'm happy enough. Hopkins dropped Joe & didn't take a beating of any sort as some predicted so he can take one final fight & retire on a high. As for Joe I think he'll probably fight Jones after all as he won't want to risk going in with a younger, fresher fighter as I think he is on the slide as well.

Mate since when has Calzaghe been know for clinching?

You're kidding yourself if you think Hopkins was'nt the ultimate clincher in his one.

You know by the end of the fight i was just pissed off with the same old Hopkins tactics that he's used for the past few years.

    The same old boring ****.

He's boring to watch and most of what he does is'nt boxing.

He should try that **** in MMA where he would get his ass handed to him big time.

All Hopkins did after the first 4-5 rounds was spoil the fight mate.

Both fighters were **** and the fight was very close, but a lot of what Hopkins does is not boxing, so i thought Calzaghe deserved it.

Imagine if everyone "boxed" like Bernard? :-((

First of all lose the patronising emoticon, second of all no I'm not happy because I don't think Hopkins lost.

You can't even name which rounds he won, but can happily say he never lost??

Nor do I, but the judges did so...

That's the way it goes sometimes.
