If they shut doors on Monday, what does it mean for UK boxing TV?

Could Eurosport take over and show some boxing. I think Setanta will be still running until they find a buyer to take over. I cant see them just going so quickly no matter what has happened tonight or in the morning it wont happen as quick as some people expect.

All I ever hear is people having wankfits over it but I agree with you too- I really dislike it and it isn't boxing, IMO. Barry Hearn's attempt to copy Twenty20. Whatever next?

As for what we can expect without Setanta, the answer is not a lot. Setanta's cards will be lost and ITV are pulling the plug on boxing as well. I hope Sky actually do get boxing now as I'd rather watch boxing with crap commentary and coverage than without boxing at all. :bbb

Are you the 'leighton' who winds up the hotheads on Setanta's website? If so you really do get to some people on there bigtime! Lol.

It was me for a while but whenever I went on there there was people posting under my name even when I didn't post. I am Uppercut off there when I want to talk boxing and me when I dont but at times it wasn't me.

Lol- that dude 'engin' used to really get wound up. I used to post under the name 'Greg' until some idiot started getting funny and started using it. I then posted under 'Craig' but comments hardly ever got posted so gave up on Setanta's website.

It's mint here. Best boxing forum by mile. I used to post on the Secondsout forum and the 606 but got fed up of them. I'm quite impressed by people's knowledge here and most people are up for a debate rather than attack everything you say. The Brit forum is the best section, IMO. You'll also recognise a load of names that Buncey has read out on air on here.

Little upstart of a UK tv station takes on the big boys at sport showing some top quality boxing at the same time promoting other networks fights for the benefit of boxing all round. They bid too much for the soccer contracts which are the main attraction in the UK and with the credit crunch have suffered with financing to keep going.
They had a deal with David Haye & were his only source of income for the Klitschko fight.
