Anyone else noticed that you can now watch ESPN American temporarily on channel 34 of freeview with your old card inserted!?

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/digitaltv/a161898/espn-america-now-on-digital-terrestrial.html

This makes it look very promising that freeview viewers will be able to subscribe to an ESPN digital channel when they get everything sorted.

We need to keep lobbying ESPN for boxing coverage. Not everyone wants to subscribe to sky for a measly amount of boxing coverage and very poor pundits doing it.

    Promising.

Bit of a mish mash at the mo but as you say it looks promising. Caught a bit of Baseball yesterday, now why does the pitcher throw wide to that back stop catcher feller letting the batsman toddle off to 1st base?

:goodI love the way that they are probably calming setting things up without knowing that as soon as they are active they are gonna be attacked with websites, petitions and the like demanding boxing and Bunce. If they get boxing along with the footy I will subscribe, if it's just the footy then forget it!

Would be excellent if that happened, obviously at a reasonable price.

To be fair though, I can't imagine many people subscribe to sky sports just for the boxing. If they did, it certainly isn't worth the money. For a couch potato sports fan like myself, its great.

Generally if the batter is likely to smash you out of the park. That way he moves to first base without getting the opportunity to hit a home run. Its particularly useful when there is somebody else on the bases, as multiple runs could be scored if the batter hits a homer.
