they say at the moment they only have limited amounts of times they can go past 0500 (was 0300 before) ... but are hoping to resolve this soon. I'm a freeview viewer and spend most of my time complaining to them about this!
Spot on, last weekends boxing was a shambles. Seriously getting ****ed off with Setanta now, and will be cancelling it as of March. Really let down again, whats the point of marketing Setanta Boxing on Freeview if all you get is tinpot German fights from 'the home of Boxing'. My arse.
STEELTOWNCOBRA is correct BUNCE, its unfortunate for yourself that you must bear the brunt of the freeview issue as im sure its someone further up the food chain so to speak whose pulling the strings but seriously if it can be switched a few times it can again so dont use that excuse. We all love your approach as opposed the non stiff neck sky two weeks later rounds missing. Yourself Andy are the most entertaining team there is but people cant be reasonably expected to pay for boxing they cant see? COME ON STEVE SORT IT OUT BIG BOY WE KNOW YOU VALUE THE FANS AND YOU HAVE THE MUSCLE!!!!!!!
For the record, my tirade of abuse for the cause of freeview subscribers was aimed at Setanta Sports in general and not specifically at Steve Bunce, who I appreciate is just a sports presenter and has very little say in company financial policy.
I do feel Buncey takes a lot of **** here, I mean, do people bombard Jeff Randle when SKY **** up?! Its the faceless MD's who need to come on these sites and tell us what we are paying our money for. Its simple really, if Setanta keep mucking about, they will lose £££, and with the fioty rights going, it spells disater.
:happy Setanta f'kin Owns ... I dunno what we'll do if they go to the wall. I subscribe through the broadband option because the way I view my TV (freeview type thing) doesn't have the option of Setanta. I just hook my laptop up to my TV and away I go. Do the Freeview subscribers have access to the broadband and on-demand features online? If not, why not?
