Buncey's too much of a loose cannon for sky. If he wound up there he wouldn't be the Buncey we know and love (for me that's the Buncey who walked past me at Calzaghe v Lacy and when asked him who he was picking he responding "Calzaghe on points" as cool as a cucumber.)

Buncey will be alright, he's at the stage were he's starting to become an institution. Hell the boxing hour could probably survive an online show with a small subscription fee.

Boxing will stay, the boxing hour will be pushed as it deserves to be, it is a flagship show. However Buncey will not have a money man who can bribed with a bottle of cheap whisky and who will crumble under public pressure.

The thing is even at that price they didn't have enough customers to break even. Apparently they have 1.3m subscribers but need atleast 1.9m.

 

I know a website where you can watch all boxing for either 99p for the event or £3.99 a month, they cover all sorts of sports and there all high definition streams, not the dog **** going off every 5 minutes
