I thought everyone else's TV had gone fuzzy and blank and MY tv was "special" I guess there will be a queue at my front door on saturday night then op
Will miss buncey and his crew Looks like sky will be the monopoly of boxing soon as ITV are stopping boxing next year

If we all turned on it'd probably be the highest amount of viewers they've ever had at this time and people would invest. Amidst all this I must ask the question. Why the **** did they have setanta sports 2. Or the history channel. Or Setanta sports news. Seriously who is going to watch Setanta news over sky sports news. Apart from when Bunce is on. They just made a load of channels to make it look like you were getting more for your money.
Cmon guys, it is pretty much over, really sad for combat sports fans. Whoever takes it over may not be as sympathetic to combat sports as Setanta currently is
I can't believe the number of dolts who support a Corporate entity whose incompetence has cost individuals fortunes.Good riddance to bad rubbish.atsch
Putting it in its simplest terms, its boxing fans who are in mourning here, cos their sport isnt going to get as much coverage when Setanta is taken out & shot at dawn. No more Setanta means a lot less boxing, no more Bunce show & THATS why people are in mourning. & Im gonna miss the Bunce show. He gave ESB a platform. he listened to us, & did everything he could to please us. I will forever be in debt to the big man for reading my Craig McEwan thread, & getting Craig on his show. Its Buncey making us ESB'ers feel part of Setanta that makes us all sad at their demise IMO. Setanta werent SKY, but by goodness would you ever hear Ian Darke, Jim Watt & co embrace their fans the way Steve Bunce did? Setantas imminent demise means nothing but another kick in the teeth to boxing fans this side of the water, & spare a thought for Andy Kerr, who visited here to talk to the ESB army. No real boxing fan on this forum should feel anything but utter sadness at the demise of Setanta. & thats the truth.
Reports are that directors have a meeting scheduled for 9am. Apparently they are trying to thrash out a deal for a possible £100m investment. If this doesn't get the go ahead then broadcasting would be stopped within the hour. They are quite confident apparently of reaching an agreement for this deal. Fingers crossed
