Didn't look like him. I thought the Woodhall and Rawling were good last night. I like Jim Watt when he isn't up the arse of a fighter he liked.

Are you on about the guy that did the post fight interviews? If so, that was someone else.

He reminded me of him but i can't remember what Clarke and that guy looked like.

I thought Clarke had longer hair but a trip to the barber would sort that out.

give it a rest newbie, richie woodhall is the best co-commentator in the business he really is, very insightful and fool of technical knowledge, anybody that can make jim neilly bearable in the olympics gets the thumbs up from me.

They are alright. Prefer them to Watt who seems to just pick a fighter and favour him completely. Quite often he'll completely jump on the jock of the underdog.

Woodhall's scoring is a bit dodgy at times, and believe you me he always uses the same sayings, but generally his analysis is okay.

His reading of the Kotelnik-Rees fight was shocking to be honest.

But generally I find him to be one of the better commentators out there.

Indeed, he's also the MC for the Snooker and presents all manner of sports shows. He literally is everywhere.

And I presume John Rawling was commentating on Setanta last night because David Croft is out in Australia commentating on the F1 for Radio 5 Live

Gotta disagree with you there TFFP .. Rawling is an absolute joke, right up there with Duke Mckenzie.
Jim Watt is clearly one of the best, i find his commentary insightful and engaging. I agree that Woodhall isnt that bad compared to some of the american commentators you get on setanta who are truly the worst ive ever listened too.
Its very important that our commentators dont fall into the obvious trap of supporting the home fighter which they often do, they are there to call the fight as they see it which is why the Gutteridge/Watt partnership was something very special and perhaps the greatest double act commentary in history - far better than Darke/McCrory.
I feel a bit sorry for Woodhall that he has to bounce off an idiot like Rawling, with a better commentator, Woodhall could be really good
